I had a great time nerding out over sneakers with the employees there. Some of them really do love the sneakers and culture.Prices are high, but it’s a store 3 miles away from some of the richest people in the world so it makes sense. I wish you could try shoes on but I wouldn’t say their policies aren’t in line with other sneaker stores I have been too.

Terrible service and store policies. Do not recommend if you aren’t a fan of sneakerhead culture appropriation and purely exclusive transactional retail exchanges. Vibe was all the way off on 9/22/23. I rarely leave negative reviews (typically no matter the negative experience), cuz folx livelihoods are at stake. However, I was compelled to share that not only was there negative service energy and no hospitality from the moment I walked in, staff were obviously not true sneaker heads in the cultural sense. Per store policy, I was immediately asked not to walk in any shoes I tried on and to put up my drink up on a table for safe keeping when entering the store. No visible signs posted to forewarn me of these requests before entering. All around weird energy that was very off putting. Owner was identified in store and confirmed policies. I shared I was a NY’er (not a native but spent a decade there and go back multiple times a year) a place where there are many after market sneaker boutiques and never heard of such requests in a place that amplifies sneakerhead culture. I mean to not become familiar with the feel of shoes you may buy and spend a gwap on is strange. Doesn’t work for me when I’m not sure if I want a shoe. So I left. Lost not just a purchase, but a customer. Way better when Mecca management was in charge. Not recommended.

This store is 1 of 1. Customer service top tier, quality and no retailer doing it like this in Washington.Check this store out, if you’re with the culture, you’ll definitely find something you love. They were willing to work with me on price, and are down to earth humans.Shoutout to Walid.

For the $300 upcharge to buy hyped sneakers in person, rather than GOAT or EBay, you would expect to be treated with respect of somewhat. They charge the price of CoolKicksLA without the customer service or clout of CoolKicks - buy n sell your shoes online or go somewhere else… I’m fine paying an upcharge to support stores that allow for the sneaker community to congregate together, but Ablaj is not a welcoming sneaker store - from my experience you will be a pain in their tail from the beginning while they visibly display inappreciativeness of your overpriced purchase. Wouldn’t have purchased if I didn’t need the shoes the day of and certainly will not support this business any further.

I really want to like this store, but their prices are absolutely absurd. I promise you that you can find a cheaper price elsewhere. You know it’s too high when it’s sometimes $100 over StockX. I ask if they can meet in the middle on the difference and usually they say no. They say that they can’t “because of the price they bought it for”, but that’s a terrible excuse.Save yourself a trip here, go to Tribute in Renton, Sneak City in Tukwila or Alderwood, or Lucky Dog in Seattle. The workers here are nice, but unless they lower their prices don’t shop here. I found a pair of mochas for $180 less than here and they wouldn’t budge. This is what is wrong with the resale community and consignment stores.

Store is decent, prices are high but that’s expected in the area it services. But do not expect to be greeted or helped. I entered on 5/27 with full intentions of making a purchase or adding more pieces to my 1000% Bearbrick collection. Employee made eye contact and said nothing to me, I looked at a few sneakers for about 15 minutes, looked at some of the clothing and not one word from the employee on the floor or the woman at the register. I have no problem spending money even if it’s above market, but at least have decent staff that interact with potential buyers. The store is aesthetically pleasing, good inventory and a good location but employees are basically useless which just pushes people to shop elsewhere.

Bought their JROD tee because of the sick design... unfortunately quality was terrible. Even after following the washing instructions, after one wash, graphic was peeling ALL OVER like crazy.

Overall I’m not a fan of this store. I have been to many consignment stores and this was my least favorite. The prices are ridiculously high as they sell everything dead stock so don’t expect to find any deals here. The staff was very unprofessional and there are no prices listed anywhere as you have to scan the QR code on the shoe in order to even see the price. Just another shoe store in a suburban mall where highschool kids who know nothing about sneakers spend their parents money. Nothing special to see here. Many other options that are much better in the area.

Few things.1. Absurd pricing, they tax on quite literally everything from the most general things to exclusives. They claim they put a higher price over places like GOAT and StockX because it’s a physical store and that you save on shipping, but I can’t justify a $100-$200 price difference on the same shoes both online and compared to other nearby sneaker stores in seattle and south center.2. Staff are super unprofessional, barely pay attention to you unless you know them personally. Never greeted, not even a hello when I was the only person to walk into the store, and not even a goodbye. Happened multiple times.3. Place seems to be owned by multiple owners. Don’t know if it’s some dispute going on but they’ve now changed their name multiple times so I’m confused whether it’s Ablaj or Mecca.4. One of the owners, Walid has some real poor customer service, whereas the other Asian guy seemed to be real nice every time.

Staff is quite rude, yelled at a little kid for trying on his shoes and testing it out by walking around. Could’ve said it way nicer so, learn some customer service for real. We all just left right after because we do not want to a support a store treating their customers like that honestly, just doesn’t feel right. Felt judged, unwelcome, and overwhelmed. Don’t recommend. Losing A LOT of potential buyers

Just bought today Jordan 4 x UNION "Guava Ice" for 1000 usd. Only to find out they are super uncomfortable (unfortunately) for me. Not only I was surprised by no return policy, but also finding out that same shoes on goat costs 700 usd haha.I hope you will be more lucky than me and stumble upon on reviews first, before purchasing anything from this garbage store.
