BEWARE if you come to this location to get color matched to a foundation. This post is long but worth it. I came to this location in hopes to finding a foundation the matched my complexion.
I was greeted then passed off to a makeup specialist. From the moment I walked up she seemed absolutely disinterested in wanting to help me. I want to add that I came into the store without any makeup on so I could find a good match for my actual skin tone.
The specialist who helped me had a full face of makeup on, and though there’s nothing wrong with that, I felt very judged from the moment I came up to her because I wasn’t wearing any makeup at all. I told her what I wanted and followed her while she walked a few aisles and then stopped at a display right at the front door.
As she proceeded to color match me she didn’t talk to me and then started brushing a foundation onto my face. It was really an awkward situation and being right in front of the door I felt even more awkward. Now I will say the foundation was a pretty good match, but when I asked her if this would be a similar color to other foundations, she himed and hawed and didn’t give me a straight answer, before saying well, every foundation is different with undertones” in a very sarcastic tone and though I do understand that, I was hoping to get at least a range of my skin complexion so that I could look at different foundation types.
When I asked for the price, it was definitely a much more pricier foundation, and I absolutely felt like she was just trying to push me out the door. Like she assumed I wasn’t gonna buy something and hence maybe why she started me off with a more unaffordable foundation.
I had really just wanted to go in there to get some help and I felt like I was being judged and dismissed and pushed out as fast as I could because I wasn’t wearing any make up, and I might not have looked like a typical person who enjoys wearing make up by maybe how I looked, showing me a foundation that was more on the pricey side and seeming to not want to help me after that.
I was so worried walking into an Ulta store because I was worried I was gonna be judged on how I look that this experience confirmed my fears and made me hate the entire experience.

I visit this Ulta salon location and absolutely adore Priscilla, who does a brilliant job on my hair every time! The staff here is exceptionally nice and helpful. I also love the Ulta rewards program. It’s a fantastic benefit, especially being a diamond member. I feel so lucky to maintain my diamond status! 😆 I'm obsessed. The one thing I love about Ulta is the mix of high-end with drugstore or box store offerings and their hair care section is unmatched! I really appreciate the brands that they showcase especially the smaller ones Beekman is amazing (please don't stop offering Beekman). They're reward program is so much better than Sephora although I am a Rouge with Sephora as well I just don't get as many freebies like I do at Ulta! Keep up the great work factoria staff. 💗 Just one tip I would give is maybe not follow too many people around and ask if you need help maybe once or even twice but no more. I've been in here browsing waiting for my appointment and I often get approached multiple times if I need help (which is fine but when it gets too excessive it can be a little annoying).

Had someone at the salon cut my hair about two years ago, came back today and showed Devan a picture of that cut (which I loved) and got a pretty exact replica! Will be coming back anytime I am in town. Super nice and great conversation too. Absolutely great experience!!

Londyn has done my 30min hydration facial today and I can’t recommend her enough! One of the best facials I had in recent times. She assessed my skin and suggested a facial that suits me and explained what I should look out in my daily routine to take care of my skin. She is knowledgeable about clean ingredients, approachable and her gentle touch is so soothening. I look forward to a 60min facial with her.

I can't say enough great things about Colette! She recently colored my hair a beautiful darker shade for my wedding, and it turned out absolutely perfect. She also gave my soon-to-be husband the best haircut of his life! Colette not only has incredible skill and talent, but she also brings such good vibes to every appointment. Research shows that trust is built moreso with customers when something happens and the business actually adequately rectifies the situation. This ulta has done that. I see true customer service and it makes me want to travel there over my local ultas. There is more selection, the employees are actually friendly, and will fix their mistakes gracefully. I really appreciate them all. ❤️ this is the best location hands down.

Ulta surprisingly had a higher markup in comparison to other stores, especially in Canada to our surprise. We were originally hoping to find good deals but left mostly empty-handed.

Get your hair done by Colette. She has tons of experience, does incredible work, and has the personality to match! Devan is also a wonderful stylist that I highly recommend. If I moved away I would fly back every 6 weeks to see my girls, that is how much I love!
