I’m submitting a formal complaint regarding the USPS mail carrier who answered the phone today. This individual repeatedly dropped the call while speaking on the phone, ignored my responses, and aggressively demanded answers to his own questions without listening to mine.
When I asked for his name, he only said “1.” When I asked him to spell it, he refused to answer.
Usps delivered my package to the wrong address and he had the nerve to yell at me over the phone when I tried to explain the situation.
It was clear that he had difficulty understanding English, and rather than addressing that or trying to communicate properly, he blamed me, raised his voice, and hung up on me not once, but two times. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior.
I expect an investigation into this employee’s conduct and an appropriate resolution. If this person cannot handle basic communication or deliver packages correctly, they should not be working in customer-facing roles.

Just had a fantastic experience with USPS worker Steve while applying for my child’s passport. In and out in 15 minutes! Steve was super knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly—a true gem amidst the usual horror stories you hear about passport services. Hope USPS recognizes his excellence and uses his approach to train agents across other locations.

I came in with a QR code for a label and envelope I already paid for on USPS.com. Simple, right? WRONG.
The moment I stepped up to the counter, the older female clerk looked like I just personally ruined her day. Grumpy from the get-go, zero interest in helping, and absolutely no info on how I could get a refund for the label I now couldn’t use… because surprise! They don’t carry the envelope I paid for at this location.
It was almost funny that she acted like I was trying to cheat the system by buying postage online. She raised her voice to make sure the whole room can hear my “crime” and then quoted me $80+ to ship the same thing. I thought that was the price, so I grabbed a box, rewrote the address, repacked everything, and went to the back of the line.
Thankfully, the next clerk was kind, helpful, and said express shipping should only be $50–60..
Here’s what stings the most: this grumpy grandma is a woman of color too. She should know better.

the worst place to ship out packages because they unnecessarily travel back to everett before heading out to SEATTLE WA DISTRIBUTION CENTER, unless you want higher chances of receiving the express mail refund for late delivery
