When I first started taking my van to this place I thought they were A-OK. They installed an awning just fine, and adjusted my sliding door. The side window repair was quite warped but I figured it wasn't a huge deal, but that comfort with imperfection would be a sign of things to come. Then I asked them to build out some boxes in the rear of my van in the storage area, hoping to have a place to sit that could also hold objects. Some of those cost a few thousand dollars and I hope they could build some a little bit cheaper. The price they quoted seemed fair, and I had seen what appeared to be their work in other vans, so I was surprised to see they just built very low-end pine panel structures Into the back and didn't even bother to finish any of the edges -- no sanding or finishing, no handle to lift the lid off, nothing. Anywhere I put my hand gave me splinters. A few thousand for that; no one could believe it. But I figured, OK, I know not to use them for finish work, I'll stick to automotive. When I hit a low clearance bar and damaged some stuff on the roof of my van, David was quick to receive my van, which I was very grateful for. He said he could start the work immediately and keep it undercover. Because the roof objects had been damaged, I was afraid water had gotten into the side panel which can result in a total, given that it interferes with the electrical systems. Insurance paid him to remove all the interior panels and dry the van out. The coach electrical shorted out immediately after I brought the van home, which led me to question whether that work was done at all. The work cost thousands and thousands of dollars. After inspecting the back doors and realizing the interior panels had not been removed, and the work he was reimbursed for wasn't done, my insurance worked with me to demand that he perform the labor he was paid for, and also for a new inverter. After all of this was said and done he still tried to demand extra money from me upon delivery, and I drove off with an inverter that never worked even once. If it were any other outfit, I'd have driven it back over there and insisted that he fix it, but honestly I didn't want him to touch another thing on my van ever again. They either installed a used / damaged part, or fried it upon install. Basically everything they touched caused a ripple effect of faults in my van which I am still dealing with today. I would recommend steering far clear of this shop.

Dave is the best! And saved my camping trip from ruin! I had a leaky propane hose on my rPod and Dave was generous to disassemble one hose to put the nozzle on a longer hose for me and only charged me for the one part. He went above and beyond by letting me text message photos of what I was working with. And his business hours are unmatched in the area! My family will be taking all our RV repair needs here from now on

I called David from ViaRV as our rv furnace was not working this chilly morning. David was there in 45 minutes . He reset and restarted the furnace and all started working again . When I asked how much we owed he replied”No Charge” which was so generous and amazing . David is very efficient, quick to problem solve and fix rv repairs and issues. If you need rv repairs call ViaRV they are the best! Thank you again so very much!

They gave us wonderful customer service. We had a chain snap on our tent trailer soon after bought it. ViaRV repaired it for us. Unfortunately, for some reason the repair didn’t hold. We contacted them about a warranty repair and they fixed it up for a second time free of charge. Sometimes things don’t go as planned and that’s okay if the company helps make it right. They definitely took care of us. We’ll gladly use them for future repair work.

I 100% do NOT recommend this shop. The techs are very inexperienced and underpaid. They are always cycling through new employees. Usually tweakers off the street. The owner david is a crook. He overcharges customers and underpays his employees. The work performed here is inferior and very often unsafe. Protect your investment and your family and use someone else. Also they make no effort to protect rigs that are left in the parking lot overnight. Resulting in damage to RVs by theft and vandalism regularly.

The Via RV team are great! We had some repairs needed for our 10 year old Roadtrek camper van, and they got us scheduled and took care of misperforming alert lights on our camper systems - did an appropriate diagnostic, found a replacement circuit board, and installed, as well as took care of a window air leak that needed re-sealing. David is great at communicating status of the project, always friendly, and was flexible with pickup due to travel challenges. We've always had great and friendly service!Service: Electrical

Emailed them to get an estimate on repairs. Was quoted a price. The price was high, but seemed reasonable, considering the repairs that I needed. I took my camper in, and was immediately quoted a price $300 higher than the price that I had received by email. When I asked what he would have done for the lower price, he was unable to answer the question. It felt like a scam from top to bottom so I packed up my camper and went home. Just got really bad vibes, and a lot of red flags for this place. I would suggest using extreme caution when having repairs done here.

To start David is a very nice man who responded quickly when I needed help. However it was quickly apparent he was not qualified. When I asked of his formal training and certifications he said he did not have any. The first night he spent over an hour turning the gas line nut in the wrong direction. I injured myself holding the furnace while he did so. I told him to go to the right. But he insisted. It was now dark and he left. Two nights later he tried for nearly an hour to put a simply duct coupler on before saying he needed to go through the floor in the bedroom.... There were other issues I couldn't ignore.. blowing fuses rather than pulling before starting, partial unnecessary disassembly of unrelated equipment, trying to pull on components without removing screws, etc.....At every step I had to assist and instruct him. I hired him to avoid doing the work myself due to spinal and shoulder injuries and partial paralysis of my left leg. After the hour long duct coupler failure I lost the last of the miniscule confidence that remained. I told him he was not at all qualified or experienced, should not have taken the job, and to take his tools and leave. He took with him my anger as well as new knowledge and tips I provided free of charge.I provided two stars rather than one because David did not attempt to charge me and should now know he needs quality training and the required certifications. Insurance companies and manufacturers (while the RV or the item being repaired/installed is under warranty) require repairs or modifications to be done by a certified technician. He knows his errors; accepting the job, the physical pain and injury inflicted on me helping him, and the stress and anxiety he cause.Later that evening David apologized. As did I for losing my cool. He told me he would be in training over the next two days. I hope David invests in more training and more importantly certifications. Until then ViaRV needs to hire one or more qualified technicians. I don't believe they have any techs left. This was a thriving business I had great experiences with in the past. But since David and his wife purchased ViaRV the service side of the business has suffered. We need good men like David in this field. He is an honest man with good intentions. As we know, honesty and good intentions are no substitution for certifications and experience. Once his qualifications and experience are elevated to meet his positive attributes he will be an excellent tech I would work with again. Until then he must not work on gas appliances/equipment, electrics, HVAC systems, or on any RV or component under warranty.

Would leave negative stars if I could. He charge me just under $800.00 to fix my Norcold Refrigerator. It is in worse shape now then when he showed up. Have gas leak on connections he made, the Teflon tape, I discovered was incorrectly wrapped, it was only on a couple threads. His way to fix a leak was to back connector off a couple turns wrap a little tape and tighten. Huge fire hazard. He, when leaving ask for me to leave a Five Star rating, he would even help me do it.BEWARE if he works on gas

We have a RV fridge problem, at first we sent it the dealer to fix, but after three weeks we brought it back and found that the fridge was still not working. Then I called this company, who immediately sent a technician, Peter, to my house, He was experienced and well-trained, carefully examined and solved the problem in two hours. The mobile service they provided is very convenient. They are very friendly , responsive, and timely. We are really satisfied with their good quality service, and the charge was very reasonable.

The work is horrible! 2 times I’ve gone here for them to ‘fix’ or should I say make right the work they have done and I’m so fed up. Trailer braking system still not working correctly. Since this place has been sold, it nosedived into the ground. The original owner was professional and cared. This guy is a joke.

Via RV zero stars! Horrible Experience over 6 months with this shady guy. My new RV with 13K miles is now depreciated because of the damage Via did to it. April 23, 2022 - I went to Via Rv to fix my slide out as it would not close properly. I was thinking this was an adjustment only but ended up to be a 6 month nightmare. Via ended up pulling out the slide and replacing the slide out assy. They added rollers as they said my new Rv needed more rollers. Pick up #1: July 7 -Upon inspection, we discovered the slide assy was not attached with all the hardware. Many empty holes in the assy and the slide still is not flush. It had a 2" gap and they said "Well this must have been hit". They indicated that the slide was not square due to a hit/accident which lead me to my insurance company to see if they could get involved. They called me in to pick it up like it was all done and never mentioned the slide was not square. New assy they installed looked used. Slide tracked are full of metal shavings and are black. Upon exercising the slide in and out, it stopped working and now they need to look into it. They discovered the tech did not install the slide motor on one side. Pick up #2: 6 weeks later we came in and did an inspection and found the slide was the same as before and now the TV cabinet was cut at the bottom (they never called me to tell me they did this) They cut it so it would open and rub on the floor. It was not a problem until they did the work on it. They added some piece of wood to hide that is was cut. Also I noticed a 2x6 bare wood behind the drivers seat that was attached to the interior slide. I asked about it and they told me the wood panel broke when they were repairing the slide. Again, never mentioned it to me and assumed I would not notice. I told them they need to fix it and add wall covering to it like it was when I dropped it off. Pick up #3 : 2 weeks later went in to inspect again and they fixed the 2x6 board and it looks ok. Slide still the same and they moved the Slide awning topper down because they said it was installed wrong by the mfger. As we tested the slide in and out, the awning topper that they moved up, grabbed the molding on the outside and curled it up. Now they have to fix the outside molding. Ug! They said they would not compensate me for the cut cabinet or the damage they did while working on it. Scratches on the body and interior damage they say I cannot prove it was them that did the damage. Total bill $8k later David sends me an email saying I could sell it to him on consignment where he gets 6% of the sale. This was just mind blowing and just solidified how shady he is. Pick up #4 - 3 weeks later, new guy on the job that seems to know what he is doing. He fixed the cabinet so it closes most of the way. Slide out- nope, still not working. New guy says it is a hardware piece they need to order and will get it all done next week. New guy tells us "the other tech had no clue what he was doing but new guy will fix it right". He went on and on about the tech that worked on it and what a crappy job he did. Pick up #5 - 3 weeks later we go to pick up and they have added new square molding pieces on the side that do not match, slide makes a weird loud noise when retracted. By now, we are just pissed. Long yelling match about it and we ended up paying half the bill and now need to take it somewhere else. David said he would pay for any fixes from new repair shop. I had him put that on the invoice. I asked for all the parts to be given to me before any work was started and he is unable to find them. Bottom line: Go somewhere else and save yourself the hassle and head ache. This guy is a shady business man and never takes responsibility for anything they did wrong. I wish I would have read all the reviews before I took it to them . David aka Dong Ma is the owner but will never tell you that.

I took my 35 foot class C in for slide repair. They fixed it quickly and for less than they had estimated. The mechanic explained the repair to me as well. Very nice people, customer oriented.
