My doctor sent a prescription at 3:30PM and I went to pick up at 5:30PM. This pharmacy asked me to come next day to pick up the prescription. Should my kids suffer with ear infection until next day ?

We came to Walgreens for our flu vaccine. We had already scheduled an appointment online and checked in using the QR code when we arrived. After checking in, we waited in the waiting area for quite a while (~30mins) but no one came.
When we finally asked, the staff told us to stand in the medication pick-up line to check in again. That makes no sense... what’s the point of checking in online if we still have to wait another hour in line just to check in again?
The whole process was disorganized. No one seemed to care about the appointments or the people waiting. Honestly, this was a waste of time. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else that actually values your time and your appointment.

Writing this review as I enter minute 90 on hold for a phone call that would've taken the same 1 minute that it took at all the other pharmacies I called, including the other Walgreens location I talked to immediately before calling this one. I was told this is the only location within an hour of me that has stock of my medication, and it would be upwards of a month's wait for me to get off backlog at any other location. This is absurd. I've been taking medications for twenty years and I've never had an experience this awful with a pharmacy. I've had almost exclusively pleasant experiences at other Walgreens, this is simply the worst customer service I've ever seen. I worked for years in a terrible retail store and we still managed better customer service than this.

I really hate to leave bad reviews and I’ll keep it short as their 1 star status speaks for itself. I will say that not only is this my worst pharmacy experience every month for 2 years but is also hands down my worst retail experience in all my 44 years. Even if you have to drive 40 minutes away to find another pharmacy it will be faster with better service. Don’t try to call them as they will not answer.

Vaccine appointment - my husband walked in for a TDAP booster as we are expecting our first child. When he went to the pharmacy counter he asked if he could get a TDAP shot and they said we can’t help you until you make an appointment online. Ok fine, not super helpful but no problem. We sat in the waiting area and made an appointment for the next available time slot, 1 hr later. We stayed in the area and waited for the appointment time. When we returned my husband waited in the line at the counter and was told to scan the QR code to check in. Then once he checked in the same person told him we are out of stock of that vaccine. No one bothered to tell us that at any point in the whole interaction?! What a huge waste of time- too bad the employees here have to act like robots instead of human beings!

Heavily understaffed, - long lines and wait times. But no surprises- Walgreens’ leadership better spend money acquiring competitors then investing in own employees…

Refused to take insurance and asked me to pay the inflated price even though I checked with the insurance company that they are indeed in network. This neighborhood deserves better that this Walgreens.

This is hands down the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They’re slow, inefficient, never pick up the phone, and their voice bot is a nightmare to deal with. They send pickup texts after you’ve already picked up your prescription!

I don't think I have ever seen a more disorganized and unprofessional set of employees. I had a flu shot appointment for 5.20 pm. When I got there I followed the signage for the vaccination appointment which led to a sign with a QR code to be filled out. At the end of it the final message on the mobile screen mentioned to go sit down and wait for your name to be called. When my name was not called till 5.50 pm I ended up talking to the person at the counter and provided her the details of my appointment. Her response was I should have checked in with her for the appointment. After showing her the sign with the QR code check-in process that was 3 feet from her she directed me to a sign that was atleast 20 feet away on a back wall that said to check-in at the counter for vaccine appointments. After pointing out that there is a sign right in front of her that says the opposite her response was I don't put up the signs. There wasn't even a hint of compassion. To her the entire thing was my mistake. She finally checked me in AGAIN and asked me to wait for 2 mins. When no one called out my name till 6.10 pm I decided to talk to a different pharmacist (The first person was no longer there) at the counter again. Her response was I am the next person and she will get to me soon. Finally at 6.20 I got the shot an entire hour after the original appointment. I understand that there are delays sometimes. But the sheer lack of compassion from the 2 employees is mind boggling. The entire hour I was there the pharmacist only gave one flu shot (There were multiple other pharmacy techs filling prescriptions. She was definitely not doing that). When I tried to explain to her that I had checked-in using the QR code her response was that they don't get notified after the patient does that. So the QR check-in process is just for show or was that an excuse to hide her ineptitude??
Just before writing this review I observed that this is the only Walgreens pharmacy in a 10 mile radius that has a 1 star. The others have close to 3. It's completely my fault for not looking at this before scheduling an appointment there. I know this review is not going to result in any action to fix things by anyone in charge at this pharmacy nor would it change the horrible state of this particular pharmacy. But at least people can avoid this pharmacy and maybe then something might change. If you need a Walgreens pharmacy in Bellevue go to the one on 140th and 8th just a few minutes from this one. BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!!
