“I had the privilege of five years in Bellingham and give thanks to Daylight for making it absolutely seamless:) move-in procedure was breeze and online portal made rental payments and maintenance requests effortless. Notices of upcoming events, building-wide inspections, or any other pertinent information was emailed out weeks in advance of the date (no surprises) to make for easy scheduling. They are a massive housing provider in the area and the phones can be slammed at times, but emails are responded to quickly and is the best way to get a hold of someone if you need to. If ever I were to move back to this wonderful town, Daylight would be my first choice!”

“I've lived here with my husband a few years now, and it has been a breath of fresh air! The other apartments I've lived in have had management that don't care, and putting in maintenance requests was like pulling teeth.
Karen, the manager, is kind and fair. She knows the tenants here well, and sees us as people instead of numbers, even starting an annual summer BBQ for the apartment complex a few years ago.
Her husband, Mike, heads maintenance, and is also incredibly pleasant to work with, and chat with if you happen to run into him.
Maintenance requests have always been handled promptly, without any fuss or fight. There's also clean and convenient dog potty patches outside for your fur babies.
I'd say there's only two minor cons;
-You can now ONLY pay rent online, no cashier's checks or otherwise.
-If you have kids, there is no playground.

In short, this is an absolutely wonderful place to live :)”

“Pros:
- Relatively close to WCC, The Guide Meridian Bellis Fair and bus stops.
- Online portal for rental payment and maintenance requests
- Rent increases have been relatively minor compared to other rental properties
-Staff and owners go outside of the box to help residents from time to time

Cons
- Lack of parking (Depending on which building you’re in, this gets worse during renovations)
- Proximity to unhoused encampments, etc. (Had to ask someone to not sleep in our parking garage)
- Occasional car break-ins
- Neighbors sometimes, people pull some real petty nonsense.

Overall, good for what it is if you have the right expectations going in. Fill out your entry form correctly, know your rights as a renter and keep cameras in your apartment/car if you’re able. It’s decent for the most part.”

“There was a shift in management here and since then the communication has increased, the professionalism and the response in maintenance has remained in good standing. They approve people who really need it and the the units itself are pretty decent.”

“Clean lobbies, fun community events, and the perfect location. A quick walk to downtown Bellingham, WTA bus station, and right next to the campus. The maintenance team is also top notch.”

“During my experience with the application and lease signing process WWU Living has been nothing but helpful and more than willing to answer all of my questions! As a first time renter I had barely any idea where to start with the process but any time I had no idea where to go next with the process or had any questions they were quick to answer. If you are a new college student, parent, or looking for a place to call home WWU living is the place. With helpful/friendly staff and beautiful living spaces I am counting down the days until move in!”
