Been taking my dogs here a while now, but this was the first time I had to let one go. My girl Kira got cancer, 15 years old she lived her max life till she was an old lady. They were very respectful, and accommodating to our family. They kept her comfortable for 2 weeks. Had a room for us when it was time, made it so we could stay for hours if we needed and even gave treats. A week or so later we received a sympathy card from them with a laminated poem and our baby girls paw prints? . Such a thoughtful group of people, so caring, and loving! I would highly recommend this facility to anypet owner!

Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! The Banfield Wellness Plan can save you allot of money!Dr. Lee is amazing! We have been going to him for over 5 years with our 2 dogs. He has performed life saving surgery and helped our dogs when sick/hurt multiple times.

They're informative when you call them but I will never bring my cat back there. They treated him like he was feral and aggressive when he is the sweetest cat any other vet has ever known, let alone the rest of the world. They refused to let me in there with him and told me he stayed in his crate the entire time because "they just weren't sure if he was safe" even after confirmation. They didn't tell me what they were doing until AFTER they did it and I had to pay way more than what I could afford because of it. I would recommend taking your beloved pet to Maplewood Animal Hospital instead. They seem to actually care over there

Allowed me to go back with the pup for her visit, took less than 20 minutes. Very informative and kind staff.Banfield in olympia require you to drop off your pet at 7am, drugged on strong sedatives/ anti psychotic medication and are then kept in crates till the end of the day.

Support your local veterinarians and avoid their Optimum Wellness Plan. This review is not a reflection of the local Bellingham staff, they have been great to work with. Our story is this, our dog passed in April and when we tried to cancel the plan, they required us to pay for three additional months to fulfill the obligation on our dog. We tried to cancel our plan for our cat today after Banfield canceled our appointment and had to, you got it, shell out the balance on the plan which we were happy to do in order to get out of it.Banfield is owned by Mars, Incorporated, a $45 billion multinational company and the service you get from Corporate shows its true colors. My wife and I switched to a local veterinarian for our new dogs are ecstatic with the service we have received so far.

The staff is incredible. My older dog has trauma and is very afraid of strangers. Banfield staff has been more than accommodating to us by having us in the room with our pup during exams. I'll stand over my pup and hug him while the nurse gives him treats so the doctor can do their work. I am so grateful to have such a compassionate team providing my best friend with the support he needs. Both of my older dogs are on the special care plan, and it has saved us thousands of dollars. If you are looking for a new vet, please visit them. Thank you, Banfield!

I hope that the staff in Bellingham reads this and makes sure that this mistake is NEVER made again.Banfield cannot fix the heartbreak that they have done to my family- We were VERY specific that we wanted the inked paw print that came with our dogs euthanization. We were called today and told that was not done because according the their documentation we had asked for "no extras" we specifically stated that we wanted the included paw print we just did not need him to be separately cremated or for any of the other extras that they charge for. There is absolutely no way they can fix this. I do not even have words to express how crushed we are. I hope that the staff in Bellingham reads this and makes sure that this mistake is NEVER made again.

Initial exam (looking at the dog for a min and say "it's good") is 65$. This is 5/10$ cheaper than the local vet. Quick. Schedules are ~1week out. Spaying 70lbs puppy is ~700$ including blood work. Nice vet and assistants.
