The setup is simple, the people kind and helpful, the food various and nutritious. They helped me feed myself during a very difficult time of my life and I will always be grateful to them.

They have milk, eggs & bread just about every time and their veggies or fruits are looking better and better. I wish they had desserts more often.

Not enough nutrition and for a family of four you get 1 thing per item. Best food bank hands down is ferndale

Never been there. But, it is a wonderful action what the city of Bellingham does for people in need. May "GOD" keep blessing you all.

I wish that they were funded. They do great for somewhere that needs donations but they really dont have enough protein and the vegetables are just old enough that you have to be picky. They leave rotten things on accident sometimes because the volunteers are overworked.

They have definitely improved the whole system, good fresh veggies and some fruit. The dairy was good. Got some good meat

This place is amazing! I was new in town and didn't know the area during the covid-19 pandemic and this place remained open consistently! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about more than just the food bank in regards to possible options for assistance.

Good people who take good care of you. Amount of food had been cut down less than half. Don't know what happened but hard to complain when it's free.

This food bank meets basic needs in a list of must have monthly food item's. If used properly by residents along with food stamps. Eating more healthy and smart is easier.Homeless no way to cook food and no way to keep items cold. Great for a meal that night to enjoy.

I’ve supported this food bank without a complaint for a few years now, since the very first period in my life when I had to go and stock up on food that other people were giving out. I trusted this concept: were I ever to need a food bank for any reason or under any circumstance, people would be around to hand out food on an emergency basis. This seems like it’s the definition of what a food bank is.Apparently, I was just young and didn’t need to eat very much. Now I understand that Bellingham Food Bank doesn’t feed me. They don’t give me enough to eat for more than a night, especially when supplies for everybody are running low and all I can really get is the no-cook bag. I wouldn’t be leaving this review if I hadn’t seen empty shelves during approximately 9/10 of my most recent visits. It’s disappointing. And it hurts to know that, on any given food bank day, I can make the effort to show up and be ready to carry off everything that I need and… there’s nothing. Just a no-cook bag.Today I’m eating a loaf of bread, three mandarins, a bowl of ramen, chocolate milk, grapes and a granola bar - this feels like I’m at eating a lunch back in elementary school; I’m a grown man and this makes me want to cry. Too bad for me - I can go back to work - how about the dozens and dozens of other people who checked out the food bank in Bellingham today, just hoping for a morsel in a trying time, and found… nothing.I’ve noticed other people’s comments on Google about the clientele and the management. I really don’t have anything to say, except, I think whomever is running this food bank is really detracting from the Bellingham community and also I have noticed the clientele shift toward minorities and/or immigrants which is a good thing for those demographics. The food bank staff speak Spanish effortlessly and signs are present in Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian; this support system is the only main redeemer for this food bank, in my eyes.A food bank should be representative of the entire community which it serves and it should be inclusive (in my view, inclusion is maintaining foresight and proactive measures so that you’re ready for any needs of new arrivals) and strive to support and heal its community. Of course, I started this by saying I’ve held my complaints but now I demand a rebranding of the Bellingham Food Bank. People need to walk in, for once, or more than once a month, and see bursting shelves, friendly employees, diverse clientele, but most importantly: PEOPLE LEAVING THE FOOD BANK LOOKING LIKE THEY’VE BEEN SUCCESSFUL - and not skipping the line because they get a very bad feeling from what they see.JUST SAYING. Thank you, Bellingham.

Hard-working, friendly staff, easily navigated layout. Feels more like actual shopping than a food bank.
