This school is amazing! I wanted to paint, and knew I needed to start with a beginning drawing class, but I'd taken a class at another school that disappointed me so I was cautious. I signed up for a mixed media class and I loved it from the very first moment I walked in the door. The instructors are all nice and they're the real thing, knowledgeable working artists. I was thrilled to draw a realistic looking polar bear in that class that still hangs on my living room wall today.
The school was set up for kids but I think so many parents wanted classes that they made room for adult classes, and now they have classes for adults along with the kids classes. I think that Bellingham Art is a gift to our community, If you've ever thought that you'd like to paint or draw, or just create you need to take a look at the classes they offer. I've found a home there painting with both acrylic and oil paints, but most of all I love oil painting, and my friend has found herself enjoying watercolors. This school is a wonderful place to lose yourself in your art for a few hours a week.

The art studio is a lovely space with so much character and filled with friendly people.
I attended a watercolor class led by Robin Reece. The instruction was clear and easy to follow. I had zero watercolor experience prior and was impressed by all of the tips and tricks I learned in one afternoon. Thank you, Robin!

Can't say enough great things about this wonderful place! My child has done art camps two summers in a row and it's one of her favorite weeks. She enjoys kindness, warmth and incredible art instruction and I love seeing her grow in her experiences, artistic confidence, and the pride on her face when she shows off her gallery of work at the end of the week! I'm so impressed with the quality of art, instruction and patience from these teachers. Thank you, BellinghamART!

I've taken a few classes here - drawing, watercolor, acrylic and oil, and a few others. The classes are helpful and fun, and the teachers seem to know their stuff. Join in, you won't regret it!

Our family loves BellinghamART!! I started going as a child with Lynn and now my kids get to go with Emily. I learned so many valuable skills with them as a child and use them in my hobby art ventures today. I love the variety of classes and camps offered to all ages. I’ve gotten to do things on my own as well as attend a class with one of my children. I always recommend BellinghamART to anyone looking for art classes!

BellinghamART's summer camps are something else. My kid (now 13) has taken one a year for the last three years. The projects they make during the week are high quality and three years later, they continue to decorate our home. The students learn different techniques and get to work with a variety of media. These camps are a good value, provide quality instruction, and are so much fun! Thanks for providing local art opportunities for our youth!

I have taken 4 watercolor and drawing classes at Bellingham Art. Each class is very well organized - from excellent instruction to providing all materials. The classes are fun and I am learning a lot of new techniques. HIghly recommend!

The beginner adult class was the best part of my week! This is a great class for folks who have dabbled in art, or, who like me, always liked art but haven't taken a class since you were a kid. My 6 year old also attended a spring break art class and we were amazed at what he created! He had lots of fun, too. Bellingham Art classes are a great way to try something new, get out of old routines, and tap into your creativity. Highly recommend.

I've now taken [adult] Beginning and Intermediate Watercolor Painting classes, and a one-session workshop, all taught by Robin Reece. All three experiences were excellent -- Robin's teaching methods and style very enjoyable and helpful. Each time I learned something new. My experience of the school is cozy and friendly, and I am grateful for its presence in the community. Judging from artwork on the walls done by students of all ages and levels, BellinghamART provides a wonderful space for exploring creative expression. What a gift!

My granddaughter has attended camps and semester classes for over 2 years now. All of her teachers have been kind and helpful and capable. The projects/art pieces the students produce are so creative. I just signed my grand up for the anime class and she is really looking forward to it.

I've heard great things about the summer program, and this year I finally signed up my ten-year-old daughter. She absolutely loved it! She made multiple pieces of different types of art, and she has been doing art around the house nonstop ever since. I highly recommend checking them out!

I’ve been taking classes at BellinghamART for the past few years, gradually working from beginner to not-a-beginner and through the various mediums offered. I LOVE my classes. The instructors are kind, interesting, and skilled. Having all the materials supplied takes away the need to plan, assemble, and transport media. You can walk in studio class and decide at that moment what you will do in the next two hours. Your classmates are supportive, camaraderie develops with little effort, and your instructor is truly invested in helping you succeed. I have grown as an artist and I appreciate works of art from a new perspective.

Both kids loved their camps. I was skeptical of the length but the 4 day, 3 hour long camp lengths were actually perfect.
