Honestly this place is just bout the most depressing overpriced "Inn" I've ever stayed at. It feels unclean, dated and not a place I'd return to. It does have a good location.

Beautiful hotel in a pretty location. Very nice room with a wet bar set up. Clean and well appointed with everything we needed…not just the bare minimum of towels, washcloths and cups. Wonderful breakfast with an attendant always there replenishing coffee, juice, milk, eggs, sausage etc. Stayed at several hotels across the US northwest in the last week and this was by far the best and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay againRooms: Very nice and clean roomFood & drinks: Great hot breakfast with a large variety of items

They are not owned by Best Western!!First room we were given hadn't been cleaned from previous guests (beds undone, pizza on the counters, empty bottles on the beds). None of the security doors actually locked or need keys at night so it didn't feel safe. We decided to stay somewhere else and they told us they can't refund us because there is a 24 hour cancellation policy.Update: Spoke with GM named AJ, like another post here says, he was rude and unwilling to help.

No curtains on windows, with bright lights outside, pet fees but no pet area, no working security doors, defective door keycards, no daily cleaning staff, rarely could access WIFI and it was poor, incorrect signage-sign read for Wyndham Wingate. Advertised laundry but had no working dryer... I could go on...

Pool and laundry were out of service February 2023. Front staff lady didn't provide help when asked about a nearby coin laundry and simply told me to check on Google.Stairs going to the rooms were very slippery and dangerous as staffdidn't even clear the snow and it was icy.

I looked good to start, however after getting settled in the room I found the handle for the shower water was missing. Getting a new room was not too difficult, but the new room was not properly cleaned. There were empty waste baskets on the counters and dresser and the shower curtain was on the bed. The shower drain grate was on the counter and the shower had a inch of water that wasn't draining. $158.11 for the room and $308.11 on hold on my credit card for 14 days as I was told. This was on new years eve. Be aware that today the charge for 1 night is $77 so they charge you double on the holiday. I could have had a better experience at a motel 6.

First let me start with the good: the place is nice, clean, charming style. Comfortable beds, good layout, clean bathrooms. HOWEVER, The staff was incredibly RUDE and dismissive to my older father as he checked in, the bedside lamp had a short and was plugged in at the head of a bed that couldn't be moved so if I moved at all, the light would go off and I was trying to read with no overhead. Why not watch TV instead (you may ask)? So the TV only worked intermittently at first(when I called the front desk they acted bothered and suggested I remove the batteries from the remote and reload them. This did not work. So I wasn't able to change channels but it was on... until it just went to the cable going off(so just snowy screen). The room we were in was not the main building (the property has several buildings so finding your room is confusing) but I think the building shares cable and it was out for that building. The breakfast was free but not very good compared to other hotels that are similar price. Many things were nice but the way the staff handles things means I will go somewhere else next time. Stay at the La Quinta. I have stayed there and will again next time.

Welcome to the Hotel of lies and deception. My experience is with the Front desk lady by the name Joyti(also confused as Jodi). I'll refer her JIf you all have not seen yelp reviews about this lady please check yelp. She is very rude and full of lies. Please, AVOID this place, you don't need to destroy your vacation to save few dollars. Please check Yelp reviews. Go take your family somewhere else.I called this Hotel while I was making a reservation through Expedia to check on few things.J received the call and after answering my question, then she asked what room you are going to book.N(me) : king bed for sofa.J: That is not available.N: I see it on Expedia and I will book from there.J: ok, I'll match the price and you can book directly though me.N: I accepted her offer and booked though her.On the day of the booking.J checked me in and game me the key cards. When I checked the room it was a standard King room without sofa.*Now the lies starts*I confronted her with the picture and quotation from Expedia.J: we don't have any King with Sofa available and they are under repair, I cannot offer you.N: I showed her Expedia page, I see ONE room available.[1]J: That's an error[2], even if someone books, I cannot give them that.N: I asked her that she gave me a smaller room from the price of bigger room, and said she is unfair and left.I called her back(I haven't used the room yet), and asked her to cancel. First she says that, as I have booked through Expedia she cannot cancel (1st lie caught), I told her I booked though her and she hang-up the call. While we were putting our bags in the room, I got a call from J, saying that we she offering me another room with the condition that I have not touched anything in the current room. I agreed. She showed me the new room through room service, it was the same room which I originally paid her the price and I as not available few minutes ago. I accepted it and went to see her to get the new key cards.I thanked her and the didn't even looked at me. While I was leaving she commented. And I quote."You only got the room as there was cancellation."[3]She should not have said that. Before the above statement I thought that she is try to fix things but her ego was still holding her. Now, the readers might me thinking, why I am giving poor rating if, a: I got the room I wanted, or b: this could just me a bad day for her.Point a: As soon as she switched me to bigger room and made the comment [3], I checked Expedia page, the room was NOT available now.Which means the was lying before [1][2]Point b: Please check yelp reviews, some reviewers mention her by the name Jodi, this is her normal behavior.I would have used the word scam, it was almost a scam until the eventually switchime after confronting. But the was lying till the end.Again:Please, AVOID this place, you don't need to destroy your vacation to save few dollars. Please check Yelp reviews. If you want to save your vacation, read this! My experience was with the front desk lady by the name Joyti(also confused as Jodi). I'll refer to her as J If you have not seen yelp reviews of this lady please check before making a reservation. *Short answer* J is very rude and full of lies. Please, AVOID this place. You don't need to destroy your vacation to save $50. Please check Yelp reviews. Go take your family somewhere else. *Long answer* I called this hotel while I was making a reservation through Expedia to check on a few things. J received the call and after answering my question, she asked what room I was going to book. N(me) : king bed with sofa. J: That is not available. N: I saw it on Expedia and I will book from there. J: Ok, I'll match the price and you can book directly through me. N: I accepted her offer and booked through her. On the day of the booking. J checked me in and gave me the key cards. When I checked the room, it was a standard King room without sofa. *Now the lies start* I confronted her with the picture and quotation from Expedia. J: We don't have any King room with Sofa available and they are under repair. I cannot offer you. N: I showed her Expedia page, there was ONE room still available.[1] J: That's an error[2], even if someone books, I cannot give them that. *After a little back and forth* N: I told her that she was giving me a smaller room for the price of a larger room, and said she was unfair and left. I called her back(I haven't used the room yet), and asked her to cancel my reservation. First she said, as I had booked through Expedia she cannot cancel (1st lie caught), I told her I booked through her and she hung up the call. While we were moving our bags in the room, I got a call from J, saying that she is offering me another room with the condition that I have not touched anything in the current room. I agreed. She showed me the new room through a room service lady. It was the same room which I originally paid her the price for and it was NOT available a few minutes ago. I accepted it and went to see her to get the new key cards. I thanked her and she didn't even look at me. While I was leaving, she commented. And I quote. "You only got the room because there was a cancelation."[3] She should not have said that! Before the above statement, I thought that she was trying to fix things but her ego is too big. Now, the readers might be thinking why I am giving her a poor rating if, a: I got the room I wanted, or b: this could just be a bad day for her. Point a: As soon as she switched me to a bigger room and made the comment [3], I checked the Expedia page, the room was NOT available now. Which means she was lying before [1][2], she assigned me the room and expected a removed listing. Point b: Please check yelp reviews. Some reviewers mention her by the name Jodi. This is her normal behavior. I would have used the word scam. It was almost a scam until she eventually switched rooms after I confronted her. But she kept lying till the end. Again: Please, AVOID this place. You don't need to destroy your vacation to save $50. Please check Yelp reviews. Go take your family somewhere else. Advice to J/Joyti/Jodi: Please learn some customs service from the service staff or the front desk guy. They are so humble and care about customers.

My band mate and I have been staying for two weeks. Mid stay they changed the hours of the complementary breakfast from 6 AM to 10AM, to 6AM to 9AM without so much as a by your leave or a thank you. Shower takes 20 minutes to get tepid water at best. Staff more suspicious of paying guests than the Junkies sleeping outside. I would not recommend this place to a coyote!

We were always a happy Best Western customer until our visit to the Best Western Heritage Inn in Bellingham, WA. We called 15 min ahead of our arrival trying to get the Expedia deal, we had our 12 yr old well mannered dog with us. We got to the front desk, they wouldn't give us the original price we saw online, got to our room & a fire alarm went off almost immediately, it went on for quite awhile, the phone was not being answered at the front desk, as we called & didn't know if it was safe to exit. The dog was freaking out, we weren't sure about our own safety. We heard other guests out in the hallway, so we went out, the exit doors were wide open. We were in the room for about 25 min., we weren't impressed with the room, we noticed it had a leak under the sink as well. We went to the front desk, it was unorganized bedlam there. The manager said she would refund us our money, we should call back later. We called back later, we were given the run around, & still haven't rec'd a refund. So, Best Western? more like Worst Western ever!
