I prepaid for four days. They were an hour late getting me the car- no biggie, but when I was running late returning it they threatened to charge me $150 an hour (there was a massive accident on I-5 and I was stuck). The guy on the phone actually threatened me. I managed to get the car back - only a little late because I stopped to vacuum and go through a car wash- and they still refused to give me back my $250 deposit AND charged me an additional $50 for no reason.

Booked with Budget called their office in US and confirmed my booking and also emailed Nadi Airport office/desk with confirmation of my rental upon arrival at check in Desk there was not car available had to wait for 2 hours than manager finally arranged a pick up for few days which was not pleasant. after 4 days they changed to a car which was okay but not what i paid for than later to a SUV which was not in better condition and old was frustrating as i had to drive to airport just to exchange vehicles. Had a very bad experience with budget overall.

I travel for work so I rent cars all of the time - at least once a month for extended periods. Budget is almost always the cheapest with my corporate rate, and they have a nice fleet, but their customer service and online interface is a total nightmare. My computer fell out of my bag once and getting it back was an absolute comedy of errors that involved me sneaking into an employee parking lot and wandering empty halls until I found an employee - my laptop was literally just sitting on someone's filing cabinet. I have no idea if any of the agencies are any better but I intend to find out. If you don't rent very often, Budget is probably fine.

I would give zero if there was an option. The sales rep on the counter at Bellingham Airport, Washington is A SCAMMER. When I checked in for the car he had charged me for an extra day. It's a good thing that I checked and had him reverse it. Then when I returned the car the same sales rep was there and he charged me for a gas when the tank was full. Again I checked my bill and went back to the counter and had him reverse it. At first he didn't want to but then I asked him to go check the car. He intentionally tried to scam me twice.

The experience here was top notch. The two gents behind the counter were friendly and especially helpful to work with. They gave us good recommendations and made the rental process quick and easy.

Hi all, I wanted to write to express my gratitude and experience with Budget Car Rental in Bellingham Airport (BLI). My Southwest flight was delayed from 9:30 pm to 11:30 pm on. Friday night. Budget closes at 9:30 pm. Matt, the Manager, who I spoke with at 9 am, while he was at work, was gracious enough to wait for myself and three other ppl on my flight; he worked nearly 15 hours! I was so thankful as it had been raining, the weekend, and he had to return early the next day. Thank you Matt!

I travel a fair bit and I’ve rented cars from many different companies . I actually am an Emerald Member of National Car Rentals but I booked this rental through a 3rd party and my experience was nothing short of incredible. The representative in the Bellingham WA airport ( his name is Matt ) was so good. His demeanor and politeness were superb but he took customer service to a new level. I left my passport in the rental and didn’t notice until I got home. After a labour intensive effort to work with Budget’s on-line customer service people I received a call from Matt reassuring me he had found my passport and would be happy to return it via fed ex. He went out of his way to go to a fed ex location nearby and through an arduous process he managed to send it back to me. It’s employees like Matt that make me want to rent cars in the future from Budget I will certainly do that.

My wife had training in Seattle and I wanted to make sure she had a dependable car. I just rented whatever was available and it ended up being a beautiful 2021 Honda with absolutely every extra available. Checking out was really easy and so was.dropping off. The guy working was extremely friendly. I am sold :)

We rented a tiny car from Budget, Mesa, AZ, in February. A crack developed in the windshield even though we weren't hit by a stone or anything we knew of. Came back from a store to find it had extended a lot. We disagreed on whether to report it, my husband thought only if in accident, so we carried on. When we returned it to the wee office inside the Country Inn/Radisson the agent told my husband that he knew that there was small crack when it was last returned & he had a note on his desk about it. In other words..it wasn't our problem, or so we thought. Next we knew we had an almost $300 bill which is the portion not covered by our Safeco Ins. When we contested it after not getting any concession from Budget, it was too late according to Capitol One. When we try to reach the area mgr. We get nowhere. GRRRRR.

Car was dirty inside when picked up also long scratches along side of car that had not been previously noted. Service was good.
