Where nerds fall in love with other nerds

If I could give this place zero stars I would.
Stay away from this place unless you like getting ripped off and insulted. Who tells a customer over the phone that they do take guides, bring them in- oh what?! You expected them to give you an actual decent amount for a large number of guides (some of them sealed) and worth a good amount of money- nope! He offers you $50 or eff off. We had guides that we know are worth good money. We had about $500 worth of guides and all you offered was $50 store credit… such an insult.
Absolutely laughable that you accuse us of not having guides worth any money- uh huh so you’re saying that you checked EBay and none were selling at more than $10 - the sealed final fantasy guide is worth $100 and the Monster Hunter guide is worth over $90, so nice try. My fiance has been selling video game everything for over a decade, he’s had very little issue getting proper prices- just warning people.

Super clean and nice game/tabletop store!
One complaint I have is the glue on their price tags! Even with use of a hair dryer to warm it up before peeling, there can still be stubborn glue left behind. This is brutal for retro games or products that don't have a cellophane wrap! If you're buying to collect, this info may help you greatly.

great selection of used games. abhorrent pricing. you're better off spending your money at gamestop and their selection is garbage

I stick my head in whenever I'm in the neighborhood. It's a well run shop with a great atmosphere. Every time I'm in I can see plenty of people playing games, and they stock all the essentials, and a good bit more.

Best store for mtg, pokemon and more. I've been building mtg decks since 6 and the employees are really helpful. I knew nothing about commanders and they helped me. Honestly I'm broke so I can't spend much money here but completely willing to donate money to the store just for fun.

Overall I really enjoy this store and the selection they offer. My husband and I both collect Pokemon and our kids love Pokemon as well and this is the only store that has the best selection locally.
However, with that said....customer service is lacking. I have worked in customer service myself and know how to balance/juggle. But often it feels when we go in there we are ignored.
The communication is poor as well. My husband has been trying to have his graded cars looked at to possibly sell and they said the owner need to see them, which is totally fine! But yesterday my husband called to see if the owner would be in and whomever spoke to him said he would be there until 6. So we went in around 4 pm and the girl behind the counter wasn't too helpful, she just said she had her eyes on him but then he disappeared so he must be gone. She never asked another employee or offered to message him to see if he had left or not.
So we called to wee of he was in today and the person on the phone asked who was calling and why they need to know if he is in. So my husband gave his name and the reason and they said he was in, and if he were to leave there is someone else who could look at the cards. We got there about 10 minutes later my husband went in to be told that the owner was not there.
So overall, poor communication among the employees and a prominent lack of customer service skills for some of the employees, I can not speak for the Magic side, but at least for the pokemon side.
But there is an employee there who is an older man with gray hair. He is AMAZING. When I took my son in who has special needs he was so kind an patient with him. He is always super informative and helpful. He is the saving grace for all my interactions.

Very nice store with great stock. I was particularly impressed that they not only carry my favorite game (Battletech by Catalyst Game Labs), but a nice selection of additional products associated with the game (e.g. Hextech terrain). The staff tends to seem a bit preoccupied, at least until I approached the counter with a purchase, which is the only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5. Overall though, seems like a great LGS.

Used to really love this store, but I don't feel like they really accommodate to anyone but their MTG fan base anymore ): Also the tech repair person is never in at a convenient time

Went to sell a binder full of rares and mythics let the employees go thru it and even let them pull the cards they were interested. They handed my binder back didn’t tell me what cards they pulled and gave me an offer well under value then tried to charge almost double msrp on Pokémon sealed products and then when asking about singles they doubled prices while I had them pulled up right infront of them on tcg player. Overall nice looking store great play area but staff is shady and they’re prices are scams

I absolutely love Cosmic Games. I have been playing Adventurer's League D&D here every Wednesday night for a year or so and it is always a blast to be surrounded by like-minded gamers in a welcoming environment tailored to us. Cosmic provides a lot of great events for the ttrpg and tcg communities as well as all the game products you could ask for. It's my go-to for D&D minis and other materials, and when I came I looking for Red Dragon Inn, they ordered a fresh batch with all the boxes I wanted.
