*THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE MEN'S BATHROOM ONLY!!* I thought it would be better to use the men's restroom at Costco rather than to wait a few more miles down the road to use the rest area. Sadly, there's a good chance I was wrong. All 3 stalls in the men's restroom need maintenance. The first stall I tried - the middle stall of three - the door didn't close all the way so it wouldn't lock. I really didn't want someone walking in on me while I was trying to wipe my @$$, so I waited for another one to open up. The second stall didn't have any toilet paper. The third stall finally opened up, so I used it. That door nearly didn't close all the way either! In fact, I had to grab the door by the bottom and pull it towards me just to get it to close enough for it to lock too. Men's bathroom seriously needs maintenance. 1/5 would not poo here again unless I absolutely had to. Do better. #PooReview

My daughter told me about this chicken melt they have at the costco restaurants and that she was dying to try it!!! I am so glad it has fake bacon in it as it turned her stomach even though she was 21 weeks pregnant. I however thought it tasted alright so I proceeded to eat only half of one of these melts. BIG MISTAKE.... I was sicker than a dog for the next 5 days. diarhea, nasea, all the typical symptoms of food poisoning. I am curious how many of these things caused people to get sick? I have tried getting a hold of the store but still have had no response from the managers. Apparently we want to dish out bad meat and get people sick but not deal with those that say something, and maybe correct it! I guess making things right is a thing of the past when your as big as costco!!!

Went in for a tire change to winter tires. I scheduled online so they started working on my car immediately. Very quick service. High quality. Convenient while I was doing my shopping. They called me when they finished. I requested to keep my all-season tires so they washed them, wrapped them in nylon bags, and placed them in my trunk. Highly recommended!

What a clean and well-organized Costco. From parking to check out, my wife and I had a great experience. Like other Costco stores, there are sample stations, a food court with cheap hot dogs, and boxes to put your groceries in. Every staff member we met was helpful, especially Shawn H.

Costco Bellingham is a go to for our family. The product selection is better than any Canadian Costco I've ever been to. The store is easy to find, parking not always easy to find though. The reason for this review now is as follows. Paid cash for my order, the cashier checked the bills I provided to verify they were authentic. Then handed me a stack of used bills for my change. A little later while trying to purchase gas with the change handed to me at Costco. It was noted that the 20 dollar bill I received as change was a fake. Phoned Costco and asked what they could do. Answer is ... Nothing. They say the do what they can. I would advise all shoppers paying in Cash to have the cashier check every bill being returned as change. My guess is that many will discover that they are getting fake currency returned to them. While I asked Costco if they did this as a policy, they denied it but lets be honest, why wouldn't they want to offload the problem onto their customers and save the loss. Other than the change issue and the poor response from the management at Costco regarding this issue, I will continue to purchase there but will switch to using my CC to protect myself.

Navigating the bustling scene at this Costco can be a challenge, with a consistently full parking lot. Once inside, the friendly staff and well-maintained store, offering a diverse range of options, make the journey beyond the crowded lot worthwhile.

Went with Costco tire due to a Michelin promotion they were having instead of discount tire, whom I have always used before. Check in was fine and I was told that they would call me when my vehicle was done. They said the estimated time would be about an hour, so I went shopping around the store and came back after about an hour and sat on the bench right by the desk. I’m literally the only person on the bench. I made several reasonable assumptions: I assumed that the employees walking by knew I was there waiting for my car. I also assumed that because the employees saw me and no one said anything, including the guy who had checked me in, that my car was still being worked on. I mean, they told me they would call me when it was done, right? I thought it was implicit that if someone is sitting there, waiting, it would occur to someone to see if my vehicle was done, without me having to ask. I assumed that because they hadn’t called me that my vehicle was still being worked on, especially since I was sitting there right in front of them. Stupid me. After about 40 minutes of just sitting there without any help, I looked in the vehicle bays and did not see my car. That’s when I wondered that it was done and they had forgotten about me, so I did what I should’ve done in the first place and went up to the desk until someone showed up. Sure enough, my vehicle was done, and if I had not said anything, who knows how much extra time I would have wasted. Im used to the process at discount tire where they let you know right away when your vehicle is done. I expected that they would actually call like they said they would. Wasting 45 minutes is not the end of the world, but I expected better service from Costco, and that’s an assumption I won’t make again.

Costco US customer service is so unlike Costco Canada. It's terrible and they don't respond to you, unlike in Canada. Furthermore, it seems to me Costco USA has become greedy (greedflation) and they are part of the inflation problem. Another thing too is don't get a car wash here. Lots of people have damaged vehicles after the wash. There needs to be a spot check/video of each member and vehicle entering the wash that will clearly show when the car wash equipment damages the vehicle.

The staff seemed not enthusiastic or friendly, just like they are very tired of doing their daily job. They left lots of grease on the wheel afterwards. The service attitude was horrible.

The gentlemen that work in the Costco tire shop in Bellingham are great! Especially Paul who went out of his way to help me resolve my car battery issue. I greatly appreciate the time and effort you took to help me out.

Ok if you're American but you're better off buying in Canada especially if you factor in extra taxes and duty. Only thing good is nitrogen air but good luck in getting an appointment or having to come in for a flat repair. Most everyone now offers complimentary lifetime tire rotation and flat repair.

Usually, good deals (I've saved as much as 40% on identical tires). Good service. It's just a bit of a hassle being in Costco. Appointments are usually several days out. They do drop-off, but usually, only those who arrive in the first 30 min or so get in, and you have to be prepared to leave the car all day.

Normally a great Costco to shop at. Kenji, an employee in the pizza/hot dog food court area was very rude and un-helpful. He had no care in the world to go the extra inch to help out a member and in all my years shopping at Bellingham Costco he has got to be the only employee I have met that gave that lack of caring and rudeness! Kenji, I'm glad there are very few of you because that means I will still get great service at Costco!!! You slipped through the cracks when you got hired, it happens.

My friends and family all know how much I love Costco. When I lived in the Seattle area for 25 years, I'd go to their Kirkland and Issaquah locations all the time, and when they opened up in Redmond, a mile from my home, I was so happy, I practically cried tears of joy. (I exaggerate here - but not much!). Suffice it to say, I'm a HUGE Costco fan, and when I moved to Vancouver in 2017, one of the first things I did was to transfer my Costco membership to Canada. (SO great that we can do this, and use our Costco cards in ANY Costco in North America). That said, in all the hundreds of times I've visited Bellingham to hit up Trader Joe's and Target, I've never once stopped at their Costco here. That is, until a few days ago. And all I can say is. WOWZA. My visit here reminded me of all the things I miss about American Costco stores. Sure, our Canadian ones are great (I know the Vancouver area Costcos like the back of my hand, as well as the downtown Montreal site). But there are a LOT of differences in the American stores, and I gotta say, their selection of merchandise, pricing and more really is superior to the Canadian sites. First and foremost, there's the liquor. It pained me to walk up and down the aisles and aisles and aisles of alcohol here. Many were brand name liquors and wines, but they also have their generic Kirkland bottles of vodka and gin and more, and I know from my Seattle years, that their Kirkland brands are as good as the brand names. In fact, they are actually made by the big brand names. And their prices are SO SO good. Even with the lousy Canadian-US exchange rate nowadays, it'd definitely pay to get many of these spirits. (If only I could bring back alcohol. If ONLY. This is why it pains me to visit here: all the stuff I cannot bring back). And now that it's primo holiday season, all their holiday spirits and items are stocked and available. Wine advent calendars? Check. Beautifully packaged spirit bundles? Check. I'm talking aisles and aisles. Then there's the foodstuffs and merchandise that's not available at our CDN Costcos (perhaps due to the CDN packaging requirements with mandatory French and English on all packaging, or the conversion to metric on the boxes, or our different FDA requirements, or our different taxation system, or other factors, or a combination of all). But there are so many items here that we don't have. I saw the most beautiful Mediterranean appetizer platter in the refrigerated section; it'd be perfect if you're having guests over. All sorts of Greek foods and tapas on a large sectioned tray. We don't have that! And huge triangles of Seattle's famous Beecher's Flagship cheese. And so so much more. Even in the holiday section, there were items I've not seen before. I purchased a 4-pack of high quality candles by a company called Bellevue. Never seen them before. And they had various chocolates and cookies packaged for the holidays that are different than those here in Canada. Their clothing lines are known brand names. They had some amazing fleece hoodies that I was eying (Eddie Bauer, Nautica, and more). Those items that they DO have here in Canada cost exactly the same, if you calculate in the USA-CDN conversion. But those items on sale here cost way less than you'd find in the Canadian Costcos, even with the conversion rate. Case in point: a large bag of holiday white chocolate-covered pretzels with candy cane pieces on them. On special at the US Costco for $4.99 US. Even with the conversion, that's way lower than the Canadian equivalent. Another difference here: their health and beauty section is WAY bigger than that in our Canadian Costcos. They have a larger variety of generic Kirkland OTC medications. They have a larger variety of facial creams and cleansers and shampoos and body washes, and have more high end brand names of said beauty products, too. (My kids would call them "bougie" brands lol). I got some generic sleep meds; came in a 2-pack for $5.99 US. C
