One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood! Good food, good service & always comes out quick no matter if it’s 4pm or 10pm! It’s one of the few places in bham that I feel like a “local”. I appreciate the dairy free cheese options too!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available

Stopped by El Capitan's this weekend for a quick bite. It's been about a year since we stopped in the last time and it's gotten even better. There is a connected tap room and the vibe is awesome! Lots of plants everywhere, just like the other side, lots of color, and creative use of colored light. It feels relaxing and energizing at the same time. The food is always good and we left happy.

Amazing food and great atmosphere! Vegan options for hot dogs as well as a cool work atmosphere (boss seems nice, even helps one of their employees with their succulent/cactus garden startup by creating a space for them in their restaurant).The place is also divided between two different seating areas depending if you want a more quiet or louder place to eat.Pinball machine and soft serve ice cream downstairs as well as the employee owned garden shop, quiet upstairs helps with ordering and the bar seating looks out the windows (plus additional outside seating in both bar and table form).Hotdogs are not the only thing on the menue with pizzas, pretzels, and fries as well. There is also a free water station inside as well.All the plants throughout the restaurant are alive and not fakeEvents such as western Wednesday and trivia thursday are very fun to go to, and it's a great place to stop by if you are also visiting the neko cafe across the street.Vegetarian options: Most of the dogs are vegan, and many of the menu options can be alteredDietary restrictions: Vegan options availableParking: Free parking from 6pm onward, though if fast you could park and run to grab your food without issueKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, folk from the neko cafe eat here on occasion too!Wheelchair accessibility: The two areas are separated by stairs indoors so the only way to move from one to the other would be going outside then back in. However, the staff usually check both areas often and take orders so that you don't have to move around at all.

$12 for a hot dog, before tip, with no chili or anything special besides some sweet onions. Y'all are hilarious. We all could get a full meal at a Mexican restaurant for that price. And there's a waiter. Its Owned locally, and they have a full staff. Your excuses and unfathomable. Definitely only go here when it's 2:00 a.m. and it's the last option you have to eat, I can tell that's why they're able to get away with the price and stay afloat, the drunk crowd.Do not eat here at any other time of the day any other option is better. Staff We're confused about our order and didn't tell us which was which. We'd never eaten there so we didn't know. The place is clean and the atmosphere is cool. Prices need to be reduced at minimum 15%, but realistically closer to 25%, OR increasing the portions drastically. It tasted good.

Coolest little neighborhood spot! The soft serve ice cream is such a treat. The hot dogs are just damn good. I don't know what they do to make them taste so good but they are really good. And cheap! The music they play is all my favorite songs. Their decor is pirate cool. It's just a cool spot to be. I highly recommend it!

The best little joint around. Great place to grab a bite to eat. They have SOME indoor seating and more outside. I think they have a larger taproom located right next door. Love the atmosphere. We both had pretzels and they were tasty. I enjoyed the coaster contest they had going. It was fun to color while eating.
