I was traveling and needed to refill a prescription. This pharmacy was fast, friendly and helpful.

The head pharmacist has lied on several occasions about prescriptions. The prescription is for life-saving insulin, which should been covered by a manufacture coupon issued by Lily. He said that the corporate offices refuses to accept the manufacture's coupon, yet other Walgreens accepted them in other regions. The story has changed EVERY time I have to talk to him though!First I was told my insurance has to decline my prescription in order to qualify for the manufacture coupon Then I was told because my insurance didn't cover it that they couldn't submit it for the manufactures coupon. Then he told me I just needed to go get it filled somewhere else because Walgreens can't figure out how to process the rebate. He will give you the total run around and every excuse under the sun.I mean this is Walgreens and Lily - - two of the largest pharmaceutical businesses in the world.Frankly, the Walgreens corporation should be quite ashamed to be running a business like this. Especially when something like pharmaceuticals are involved. I've been a customer since the day this Walgreens open. I have several prescriptions with them, so this is terrible customer service and has made me pull all of my prescriptions and go to another provider. This particular store on Samish Way has definitely gone way down hill since they opened and should be investigated by the pharmaceutical board.

Unreliable! The phone wait for the pharmacy is ridiculous. I stay on the phone for 2.5hrs on 3 calls ahead of me then to get dropped. Because this call was a life situation where the Rx is a daily routine and if a Rx was missed the effect is deathly - I called again to sit for another 1.5hr. Jay the pharmacist had no sense of customer service, no sense of compassion nor sympathy - I have a sense that this person does not care about where he works and the responsibility that a good pharmacist should show. This man was to eager to drop my call which makes me wonder about the other calls before. I spoke to another Walgreen pharmacy and found out the manage at this location was on vacation. Jay the pharmacist (if that is really your name) you just got busted. I will be calling again to speak to the manger.
