Sushi area now makes you pay and show receipt before sitting down. This is ok IF there were employees to take a payment in the deli or sushi area but usually there is only one person working. Self checkout not fast. I can understand that people are probably stealing the sushi but come up with another payment option. Guess we will walk over to Whole Foods until they figure it out. Gosh, people are coming in with bags of money to spend...Make it easier for us!

I did instacart here daily for months. Everything is good except for the managers. It's 7 mostly male, single, white, old '1970s-80s' 'mens club' type guys who are operating under an outdated business model. Total lack of any hands on, direct engagement with employees or community members. Their entire collective persona involves just hovering over and gossiping about the actual workers. alot of spying and creeping around. ponytail guy in alcohol was particularly rude.
Of course if you're are a young starbucks employee or have red streaks in your hair they really take you under their wing and treat you like family.

Great store, produce, and staff. Locally, the store is everything I ever asked. My critique is company wide. The HD Design candles smell nice, but the odor doesn't fill the room, not even my tiny tiny studio. Its not a big deal, but something to consider!

I'm convinced that whoever is in charge of this store sits in the back office wearing clown makeup. It always seemed a little disorganized, then today I waited for the person working the deli to come back after being assured by two separate employees that they were just on break. Said employee comes back after waiting 20 minutes to inform everyone waiting that the deli is closed. No sign, nobody that knows what's going on, total joke run by a clown. One star for the employees who are clearly working hard and being courteous through it all.

My husband needed his fishing license copy. While he was doing that I noticed 50% off patriotic supplies. When I went to checkout I wanted to watch prices to make sure I was getting the discount. It was such a scam. I caught 3 things not ringing up right so told him to put them back. I was getting kind of frustrated. Don't they want my money? He just l
Kept going. I said can you get a manager to over ride? Clearly the flags were in the patriotic display. I was told I could got take it up with customer service. My husband was stressing me out because it was taking so long. As we got on the road to go crabbing I looked at my receipt. I had been overcharged $27.50. I wonder how many people think they're getting the discount but don’t watch or look at the receipt. What a bait and switch. After crabbing I went back and did a return for all the overcharged items. Antonio helped me. He called the store manager and got permission to give me the refund. I git to keep the goods. I asked him though if I could go get the fireworks set that was supposed to be 50% off. He told me I would need to go through the line and make the purchase. No apologies. I showed my frustration but was still as nice as I could be. I didn't feel heard or respected. Maybe if I was a KAREN I could have saved myself frustration, time, and money. I don't shop fred Meyers often. After this I am going to take my business elsewhere. Watch your receipts, and prices you expected.

Always has just about everything I need. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean, well laid out, and clearly labeled aisles. Good prices and good produce. Reliable and not usually over crowded. They keep enough check stands open to avoid long wait times at check out.
