I had an incredible experience at the salon! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and truly heard by the stylist. She took the time to listen to my ideas. Her kindness and professionalism made me feel at ease throughout the process. When she finished, I couldn't believe how beautifully she had transformed my hair! It looked and felt fantastic, and I left the salon feeling radiant and confident. I highly recommend Great Clips at Lakeway!

I just needed a trim and didn’t want to pay too much. Jamie was a great stylist and made it easy to say how I wanted my haircut and finished under 10 minutes.

After reading Jennifer's review I don't feel apprehensive about saying something, myself. I've been going here for a very long time and was just given the jerk around, argued with by some unsavory employee and then her manager. I've never been treated like this before, wait times bounced up and down as i waited for an hour on a 15 minute estimate. When I presented this, the employees ganged up on me so I walked away. Now that I know there was a change in ownership I can see they kept the cheaper employees and probably alienated the great ones we have all relied upon for years. Gross.

I dont ever post reviews but per Adam's expierence below, I was also manhandled by the stylist named Jamie/ jaylie. She already looked annoyed/impatient being there. Straight up shoved my head every which way to press the clipper into my hair. My head and neck still burn from how rough she was. Easily the most uncomfortable haircut I've ever had.

I normally don’t write reviews about my experience but this was the extremely bad. I think her name was Jaime, she said her name so quick that I couldn’t catch it. When I sat in the chair she told me what she has in the computer about my preference and when I tried to explain that I got something a little bit differently last time she came back combative with this is what is in the computer. I just went with what she showed me as it looked like it was the correct length and I just needed a hair cut. While the hair cut was going on she was using the comb for figuring out the length and was pulling my hair to the point that I felt my skin be pulled. When she got to asking about if I wanted the hair of led my ear and I said yes not only did her clipped slipped off the comb and cut a portion of my beard shorter than the rest but the comb almost poked my eye with out her knowing. When she asked if I wanted my back of my neck either round or square, I asked for rounded but as she was using the razor it felt like she was pressing it into my skin to the point that it hurt. Once I got back into the car I realized that what I thought was just water in the water bottle was mixed with something like a hair gel. I know that this is up to the hair dresser what is in the bottle but I would have appreciated a for warning that it was not just water. At home my wife has noticed that there was no attempt to layer or blend the sides into the top but that wasn’t even done. If you do go here, ask for anyone else as they all make sure that the customer understands what they are getting and not just a body to make a quick buck off of.

After having received two bad haircuts at other Great Clips, I was skeptical about going back to Great Clips again. But I decided to give Great Clips (next to the Fred Meyers on Lakeway) a chance to get it right. After listening carefully to what I wanted, Minerva gave me an EXCELLENT cut. I will definitely be giving that particular Great Clips (and Minerva) my business in the future!!

I should have read the reviews before bringing my kids in today. The haircut looks nothing like the picture I showed her. I should have known not to go to great clips as they have always done a bad job. They took off way too much hair in the front and didn’t even fade his hair. It’s uneven and not even blended the cut. He has a birthday next week and will have butchered hair. VERY UNHAPPY.

A very quick online check-in, zero wait walk-in, and turn around about an hour before closing for a cut I've gotten several times here.
But something about the cleanup razor did a number on my neck. On the drive home felt overall uncomfortable stinging sensation and when I got home asked partner if I had razor burn. Yep! Harsh red lines and some bleeding along hairline. Either bad razor guard, too much pressure/speed, or all of the above!

The picture talks for itself. My boyfriend came back to the salon asking what happened after I saw his neck. The hairdresser said “The blaze was too sharp for your sensitive skin.” No apology. No refund.
