  Jeff completed various projects for us including a new cedar deck rail, installing a new man-door from the garage to the side yard, under deck waterproof ceiling, a cedar kayak storage rack, and a storage platform in our basement.Jeff works diligently, showing up when he says he will. He sticks to his estimates. He thinks through his tasks and comes up with good stylistic ideas. He checks with us before implementing changes. He cleans up at the end of the day. He makes an effort to recycle the lumber scraps he is left with. He is friendly and courteous. He kept the gate closed to ensure our Golden Retriever never got out.I recommend working with - without a doubt.Update - August 2020It's been 6 years since Jeff completed his work for us and I'm happy to say that everything he built has lasted well and still looks good. :-)

  Jeff did an absolutely fantastic job on the fence he built around our patio! We found him through a google search, and we are so glad we did. We got a quote from the main fencing place in town, and though it was a little bit lower than Jeff's, we weren't thrilled with their customer service, and their fences looked okay but not great.
  
  From our very first interaction with Jeff, he was professional, straightforward, and offered helpful information about why we'd want to go with one set of materials versus another. He kept in touch about his schedule, worked efficiently and very cleanly (he and his colleague Matthew were both very meticulous as they worked and great about cleaning up at the end of each day), and he created a simply beautiful fence for us that we truly love.
  
  The cost differential between Jeff's work and the other fence company was negligible given that he used much higher end materials that will last longer and look better. They would have built us a serviceable fence... Jeff built us a piece of art. We couldn't be happier with him, and we can't recommend him highly enough.
