You get what you pay for. It was ok. Thank god there is a Starbucks close by as the new phase of in-room coffee is, IMO, awful.
Staff was ok and the place is clean enough!

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone attending courses at AAI. It's just a few minutes' walk from the institute, making it extremely convenient. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is very good — a great way to start each day.
A major plus is that they offer free parking for the entire duration of your course, and you also receive a small discount on the daily rate as an AAI attendee. Just a tip: if you plan to make more than one reservation, be sure to clear your browser cache beforehand — I've noticed that prices tend to increase on a second booking.
Overall, this hotel offers comfort, convenience, and good value for those attending AAI programs.

We were so impressed with the staff at this hotel. At breakfast they were constantly wiping tables after people left.
The rooms were clean and service was good.

This is my one of favorite Hampton inns Ive ever stayed at. I stayed here 2 weeks ago. Everything about the trip was exceptional. There was plenty of parking right out front the door, the lady at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Most importantly, the rooms were CLEAN. Not a single part of the hotel had any visible damage or dirt. The rooms had modern technology, the bathrooms were fully stocked with towels, and the tv was the largest I’ve seen at a hotel. Overall in my top 2 budget hotels.

Brought my dog and they were kind and respectful. The rooms are great. I am on crutches and the lady made sure my room was right by the elevators. The breakfast has been amazing! So many choices and dairy free choices which is perfect for my family! The coffee in the lobby is amazing too. Such great staff. The shower has been easy for me to get into with my crutches. Close by everything

Great hotel, large clean rooms, beds are great. Shower was excellent, lots of water flow. Easy to get on or off of I-5 North or South. Parking space is very good.

We booked this hotel before reading some of the recent reviews...
I was a bit nervous sure to some recent poor reviews/ratings and negative comments. I could not have been more pleased with our stay!!
1. This was the first time we were taking our EV out and about, away from home. So public charging was super important. Not only did they have ample parking and options for EV charging, it was FREE! This was a huge plus.
2. The location was perfect. Hardly had to get on the freeway to get around Bellingham. Easy 10 minute or less drive to so many great places.
3. The overall hotel experience was great. Easy parking, friendly staff, clean room, decent and free breakfast, nice amenities. The room was really well laid out, very clean, and comfortable.
I'm sure some of the previous reviews had merit, we just never ran into any issues or concerns. I would highly recommend this hotel while visiting Bellingham, and will stay here again in the future.

I showed up with a teenage grandson, 2 1/2 year old Aussie pup, broken truck ( brand new W/ transmission issues) & very large boat on trailer , I met the GM Craig first & he went out of his way to both help us park and store boat on property as well as get us settled in so truck could be towed to dealer , beginning our unexpectedly longer than planned stay!! The staff were all welcoming and helped us manage the 5+ weeks we stayed with them, from a great breakfast each day to any and all needs attended to , our stay was above and beyond the norm!! We typically stay at Hampton’s across the country and this particular one is superb!! Actually in my experience the best I’ve encountered. It’s nice, great condition and well staffed !!
Yes there is an encampment of homeless folks across street but we were never bothered and I never saw anyone else bothered either. It’s also not the fault of the hotel they are there!
Being here for a long stay , we met many other guests , from Taylor fans to voucher guests and all were pleasant & nice, also a grump or two but there is always a Scrooge around the corner this time of year!!!
Our dog was befriended by all , guests and staff alike , he acted as if seeing them was like seeing family , we spent most of holiday season here with these folks and have nothing but praise and wonderful memories.
I felt as a business owner myself, that understands review power, a true and honest & expressive opinion/observation type review needed to be shared , it seems many choose to complain about things the hotel is neither responsible for or is out of their control !
After spending 5 + weeks I would happily stay again and plan on doing just that on my way back to BC.

We came to Bellingham for my son’s graduation from WWU. Whenever possible we stay in Hampton Inns when traveling since they are very family friendly and affordable. Check in was easy and our room was great. Nicely decorated and very clean. As expected, they had a solid free breakfast.
Our only issue was the behavior of one of their what I am assuming is live-in guests that was not addressed in a timely fashion by the Hampton Inn staff.
During our first morning, he was in the breakfast room with his dogs. As he moved around getting his food, they moved around dragging their leases very loudly on the ground. He then kept yelling at them this when on for 30+ minutes. He would yell them back to their area and then 2 min later they would follow him again.
I have no problem with dogs- but their owner had no respect for the common space. My son even noticed and remarked multiple times “that man is so mean to his dogs.”
The next day we ran into him in the pool area- where when he entered, he slammed his skateboard on the pools deck. No regard for others, no apology.
Later that night he was banging around in the hallway outside our room with his bike and speaker. He tried to open our door at some point by mistake and I stepped into the hall to see what was going on, I could not believe that it was him again.
And finally on our third and final morning when my son and I came downstairs for breakfast he was seated next to another man blasting videos from his phone. Again, just no regard for others and common spaces. I checked in with the front desk and eventually the GM checked in and the music went off. But that was after 45+ minutes.
The staff clearly knows him. When his dogs ran in one morning the front desk staff member greeted them by name. It’s just frustrating that his behavior and disregard for common spaces is left unchecked. This definitely soured this otherwise amazing weekend. I also felt bad for the kitchen staff that had to clean up the floor from where he was feeding his dogs from the breakfast bar.
I would not recommend this location to anyone anytime soon.

Unfortunately my Trip to Bellingham was marred by a stay at this Hilton.
The rooms were dirty, The first room they put me in smelled so badly of mold and perfume. I switched to another room. It wasn't much better. The room service was non-existent. I was there for five nights. Not once did I get my room cleaned.
The pool and the hot tub had dirt in each. Turning on the hot tub created a bubble bath. I don't think the water had been changed in a while.
They allow people with large pets in the hotel rooms. Barking in the rooms nearby kept me from sleeping well.
The breakfast bar was a variety of processed foods.
If you have to go to Bellingham, avoid this place.
It was close to work. That was the only benefit.
Edit: Reading all the other reviews I see that the hotel takes vouchers. Now it makes sense. Second night here, the fire alarm went off at 11:00, Third night here one of the other guests was fixing his bike in the hallway and yelling at his dogs at 11: 20p. All the rooms smell like smoke that I've been in.
Again, stay away from this place. It's a nightmare.
