“Recently moved to Bham. Been making my way through the LCS offerings. Was happy to find this gem within easy reach.
Owner was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Shop stock was healthy enough, prices on many items were reasonable, and the hours were decent. Felt a whole lot better than the absolute fleecing being done at another shop down the way from this one.
Side note, they have a discord channel where questions are answered 24/7. Super helpful.”
“This place is the bees knees! First of the vibes are exquisite; some light jazz playing, well lit but not to the point I feel like I'm in the operating room, the most kind staff helped direct us and find some lovely things to go home with. Will be coming back soon for more fun goodies and trinkets!”
“Went in to sell some family jewelry. The staff was very friendly and no pressure to sell. I decided to keep a couple items and sell a few. Never pressure to sell. Will go again.”

“Les is very knowledgeable about bees, wasps, and hornets. He came over to our home quickly when I called for his expertise. He identified the bald-headed hornets that suddenly appeared in a tree near our house and gave us advise on how to deal with them and why they suddenly appeared. He came highly recommended--deservedly so!”
“We were given school photos from family and had a suitable frame, but it was not the right size for the photos (too large) so we came here in search of matting for the frame. We found precut mat in various sizes that brought the space between the frame and the photos close, but still not quite right. We then came across scrap book paper! Very reasonable and so many options! It worked out great and finally we can proudly display and enjoy the school photos instead of putting them on the fridge with magnets lol! If you have time to wander, this is a fantastic place for Getting ideas for so many organization/decorating/house projects! The staff was friendly and helpful. I should also mention, they do offer custom mats here but for this project, it was not worth the money (these are tiny photos and we will probably re frame new ones next year). They also can custom frame and mat your photos/artwork of Any size!”
“They have recently expanded their fabric section, but it's still pretty small. They've also added a self checkout, which can be a problem when there are no staff available to help with problems. When we were there today there were no employees in sight and an elderly customer had no idea how to check out. Other customers had to assist. It really slowed things down in the checkout line.”
“they have an incredible selection of gunplay and model kits this was my first time in a hobby shop and it was lovely well worth the time and it's pretty affordable as well”
“I was iffy on Cosmic Games, because when I'd been in before I'd seen some things at crazy prices above market value and I don't appreciate businesses that scalp. However, today I came in for my first real Pokemon card trade since childhood and I was not disappointed- they accepted my 1:1 trade that I had researched before coming in. I had been to a different LCS nearby who only offered me around 60% of market value for the cards I had. Cosmic met me at approximately 80%. I really appreciated that they made me feel comfortable, respected that I knew the value of my cards, and offered me a good trade (which was admittedly in their favor to begin with). I will be back! :)”

“I LOVE this store! The staff here are amazing. So helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and fun. Anna is especially great. She knows so much about the machines and is so encouraging about offering help with sewing. I just bought a new vacuum and am thrilled with my purchase. The selection was excellent and the prices were very fair. I'm going to take some of their sewing classes soon. Wonderful community of staff and customers here.”
