They made me come twice to get a notary public to help me out even when I am a member then the teller told me "I remember you came 2 hours earlier and we told you to come back, but now is not a good time, we are going to have to send you to another branch" not even say sorry or goodbye anything. Maybe because I am Latino?

I’ve had a very active account here since I was a kid in the 1990s and I come into the building regularly.Recently I went in to deposit a large sum of money into my savings. I was looked at and talked about - IN FRONT OF MY FACE - with such suspicion I wanted to run out of there humiliated. All of this while a long line formed behind me (they must be severely understaffed.)The man and woman who were “helping” me LOUDLY debated whether they should even accept the check, and questioned where the money had come from, even though I had proper documentation and identification!!!I’d never seen these 2 workers before (not entirely surprising; there’s so much turnover here) but I was so caught off guard by their lack of basic customer service skills.I’m now in the process of moving ALL of my money to a bank with better interest rates and superior customer service after this interaction, after having been a “member” here for 25+ years.

Closed account due to lack of respectful, honest communication.

I just went in unsure of how I was going to make it to payday with $10 in my account. Came out confident that I will be fine! Gil was a huge huge help! He even went above and beyond to count change for me as well as come out into the cold to help me with the ATM machine ❤️ so kind

If there’s any credit union I would not recommend it is ICU, got to WECU for compassionate caring employees. ICU is full of robotic people who weren’t hugged enough as children.

Fraudulent activity on my account and they act like there’s nothing they can do, no wonder identity theft is so rampant

I have never had a good experience with ICU in any instance - but especially the NW branch. Doing any sort of business there is beyond difficult. Anything you do ANYWHERE at any other credit unions, even not being a member, is easier that doing ANYTHING through ICU. They are the epitome of “rules” not “help”. Customer service should really be #1 and hasnt since I NOW have had enough 10 years later.

Absolutely love this credit union and the northwest location specifically! Such a great atmosphere and group of people. I thoroughly enjoy doing my banking here because of the friendly staff. They make doing banking easy. Thank you!

There's a reason this so-called "Credit Union" (it's really a terrible bank) has so many 1-star reviews. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. They do everything they can to block you from engaging in transactions and payments without a fee, etc. We closed our accounts after a few years because the bank has gone crazy with fees, which are pretty much extortion based on obfuscation. And to make things worse, the employees simply don't care.

I've been with ICU for over 40 years and I'm someone's power of attorney and I tryed cashing the person's income tax refund for him and was turned down because even though he had overdraft protection and he is incarcerated and had automatic payments taken out so they closed his account. It shouldn't matter who's name is on the check if the check is good and I have the proper power of attorney paperwork they should cash the check. It's not like this person can get out of jail to open another account at a different bank. ICU Has been like a family for over 40 years and now I got to spend more of my own money to get attorney to fine a way to get the check cashed. Basically the reason they wouldn't cash the check is because he overdraft his account before I could close it so I think it is personal between bank and the person. It doesn't seem right to me and could not get a straight answer from them in as why they won't cash a government income tax check. I haven't heard the government is broke has inbody else heard?

Talked to a woman named Amy.. very stuck up, rude individual. Wasn’t professional at all. Seems like she takes “Vacation” way to much instead of doing her job duties. Bosses her employees around without actually helping them out. Idk... I’ve been a business owner for over ten years and this sort of work ethic spent sit right with me. Other then that great credit Union and wonderful employees they have there! Highly recommend them to anyone. Just don’t deal with Amy

I have been a member for over 12 years. 4 years ago they turned me down for a car payment and I had to buy my car through a different credit union. I have never missed 1 payment or been late. A couple of months ago I went to them for a home loan. Although my credit is over 800 and my husband is a disabled vet who has a great income ( mine isn’t too shabby either) they barely gave us 5 minutes of their time. But another credit union was all too happy to get us financing. What do I need with this lousy institution?

I have been a member for years and now live out of state and they still take great care of us either by phone or on the website or even the app. I’m very happy with the credit union and don’t foresee changing
