One star because they keep parking their big rigs in our RESIDENTIAL neighborhood. Hard to make a turn out of our cul-de-sac because you can not see past parked truck. Its dangerous too with all the young kids riding bikes, cutting across the street their vision is impaired due to size of vehicle. They should know better, they just don't care. Some bad accident is going to happen, just a matter of time. And, several of us homeowners are tired of seeing these big rigs parked all weekend in our neighborhood so that it is "convenient for the company. Johnston Towing......stop parking you're big rigs in our residential neighborhood

Scumbags! The worst predatory towing I've ever witnessed. Literally sent a fleet of tow trucks to block cars parked on State Street in downtown Bellingham in street parking zones, not private. Then the drivers extort the drivers to pay their insanely high drop charge ($372) while they block cars from leaving. Pending lawsuit against this company for illegal predatory towing practices in the city of Bellingham. If they attempt this kind of shady thing on you remember there are binding laws they have to abide by in Washington State. If you've already been charged by a driver who blocked your car from leaving, call your bank and do a chargeback. Make the towing company come after you, and explain the circumstances. You likely will also get a parking enforcement ticket to add insult to injury, but always take care of that one first. Hope that info can help someone after what these unethical losers did to my friend back in September.

Great service. Arrived quickly and right when they said. Really showed foresight sending two trucks to get my truck unstuck. They worked quickly and efficiently to extract my truck and get me back on the road. I should have called them hours sooner instead of making things worse by trying to win a hopless battle. Got me out of a mud hole 100ft from the road. Great job guys! Price was very fair for what they did

Had to get my car towed after it quit on me and struggled to get it in neutral. Jacob was very kind and understanding and explained how to get it in neutral when the car won't start. Overall great experience and I'll be sure to call you guys first whenever something comes up.

Amazing group of people, very understanding and fair. Out of all the times I've delt with a tow company- this one gets my #1 spot by far. I am so thankful to have found a reasonable and trustworthy place to utilize. Thank you guys for being awesome!Ever need a tow call them first! ?

These guys refused to release my brothers vehicle to him the day after it was impounded.he has disabilities and they held it for a week by trespassing him to rack up the bill. We had to call the police to get it out.Had to pay almost $1,400 to get it outWhy are all tow companies crooks?!?!

Due to my own fault and mistake, my car was towed due street maintenance. Despite being an expensive mistake on my end (again, on behalf of my own wrongdoing and fault), Bubba and Jim were kind, fast and lighthearted with what could have been a very frustrating circumstance for both parties. I hope if I need to use them in the future it is for my own necessity, but have no doubt they would handle an accidental situation with the same familiarity and smiles. Never thought I would leave a five star review after getting my car towed but here we are, they deserve it. Hopefully one day I can buy them a beer or two for the trouble they navigated on my behalf.

I can’t recommend them for they lied about having signs up. And had to call them and was told that car was not there. So we decided to go call the cops. And they told us the car was there. I took photograph evidence that there is no signs at the building indicating the company that took the car. And they had the guts to call me a liar. I refuse to do any and all business with them.

they charged me 454 dollars for an hour of picking up my car. then on top of that the guy was rude when asked why was so much. should be ashamed of themselves. taking advantage of people when they need their cars

Got stuck down in Alger after dark with a blown out wheel bearing and called around to a few tow companies for an estimate to get towed back up to Bham. Johnson's gave me the best quote ($150 plus $5.50 per mile) so I went with them. Most other places I called wanted $200+ per hour, so Johnson's is definitely your best bet if you're broken down somewhere local. Larry came with a flatbed and picked me and my truck up within 30-45 mins. Definitely the most painless towing experience I've ever had. I've had a couple really bad experiences trying to find a tow truck through AAA in Whatcom and Skagit counties (5+ hour wait times)... this went a lot smoother. Thanks Larry!Service: Car towing

Larry picked me and my little sister up after we had waited for AAA for 4 hours to take us to the Sumas border after my car broke down in Bellingham. He was a rock star and got us there quickly, safely and he even had a phone charger for both of us that he offered for us use. I would absolutely recommend this company. Even the person who answered that phone was incredibly (I think he said her name was Hillary) nice. One million out of 10 score.

Car issues are no fun, but this company helped make my stressful situation just a minor inconvenience. Great communication with the reception and with the driver. I was able to leave my car, and continue on with my plans to go on a bike ride with a friend. Then, I even got a call from the mechanic, due to the driver going above and beyond to communicate the issue and pass on my contact info, when I thought the mechanic was closed for the evening. Really appreciate all the help!
