About Lummi Island Wild
Lummi Island Wild is a seafood company that specializes in high-quality fish products, particularly salmon, crab, and halibut. Customers appreciate the freshness and exceptional quality of the fish, often noting that it surpasses options available at larger retailers like Whole Foods. The ordering process is straightforward, and deliveries arrive securely packaged with dry ice to ensure freshness.
The company has a strong connection to the water and the local community, which enhances the overall experience for customers who feel they are supporting a meaningful movement. Many reviews highlight the incredible taste of the fish, with some customers expressing excitement over their purchases, especially the salmon and salmon roe (Ikura).
However, not all experiences have been perfect. One customer expressed disappointment with a specific order of King Salmon due to its lack of fat marbling and flavor. This feedback was met with prompt and commendable customer service from the company's president, who offered to resolve the issue by sending a special package for the customer to try.
Overall, Lummi Island Wild is praised for its commitment to quality, customer service, and sustainable practices, making it a popular choice for seafood lovers seeking fresh and flavorful options.
