“I just got done shopping at the Vans store in the Bellis Fair mall.
What I'm about to write is truly authentic and sincere:
Maddie was my sales associate and she was the best ever!
Her vibe and positive energy for doing what she does was really uplifting!
I needed a pair of shoes for work as a CNA and she found the right Fit and style for me. And even though I needed to try on several pairs she didn't seem bothered.
She even had experience with the specific shoe and shated other people's feedback.
She even went above and beyond to help me find something for my husband that's at home recovering from knee surgery.
She remembered us from previous visits which is pretty awesome.
So often these days you walk into a store and it just seems like nobody's happy working there and they are irritated.
But this is not the case when you go to the Vans store in Bellingham!
They rock.

“Came here after a San Juan cruise for whale watching. It is located in the ferry terminal. The store is small compared to other gift shops, but found a lot of cute souvenirs to buy. The pricing of items were fair. The employee working was very nice and pleasant. Definitely check out if in the area!Also, since we went on the whale watching tour, we received a 10% discount!”
“So yellow onion sets have been particularly difficult to find here in 2024. Made two stops in Lynden so it was off to Laurel they didn't have them either.I gave em 4 stars as they haven't failed me in the past. Omitting one for this year.”
“Unlike another place down the road, I was able to SHOP this store. Found some good sale prices on some pants I needed. And nothing was locked down with security cables. Just a nice normal store!”

“The cleanest store I’ve ever been to! Every size is in order which makes it super easy to shop. Staff are super friendly and accommodating when it comes to ordering sizes or matching online pricing. Love shopping AE and here especially”
“Great selection of Bellingham and NW clothing. Lots of Life is Good shirts. Great cards (with great prices) and all sorts of other clothing, hats, socks, puzzles and tons of small gift items (or stocking stuffers if you shop early). Very friendly and helpful staff. I'll be back!”
“A huge shout out for such great service by Thomas at the Bellis Fair Mall Store in Bellingham, WA on December 5, 2023. I had a very frustrating experience trying to order my grandsons clothes online on December 3, 2023 and after over two hours and three failed attempts of not getting my order completed because it wouldn't process my Promo Rewards, I got no where and decided to go to the store and just pick up the clothes if they had them and mail them to Missouri costing me more money and my time to know have to just drive to the store back and forth, gas money, and then package and mail them. So this is what I did. If it wasn't for Thomas to know exactly where in the store the items were from my pictures it would have taken me a lot of time. Thankfully, Thomas listened to my frustration from the two days prior and he was going to make up for the lack of customer service and my online order; and he did this full circle. He is a true retail professional and I thanked him repeatedly. I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes and left a happy customer. I will now instead just go to the store and get what I need. Thanks so much to whoever trained Thomas to be such a great manager of knowing the customer matters. Hope to see him again. I thanked him several times and got his name as I told him too I was going to write a review. Merry Christmas to Thomas and I know the many customers he will serve will get the same patience, service, and sincerity of caring too.”
“Overall, I really love this place.They have cute clothes crop tops mostly , but they also have some cool, rock band sweatshirts and shirts, I bought a really cool one that says sleep now on it.I just wish it had a hood. Overall, it's a super good store. Love that they just let you shop instead of being all up in your grill, the employees that is. Really wish they would stay open later, but most people aren't night owls like me so I'm probably the only one bothered by that.”
“If you are a Carhartt or Dickies fan, this is your store! Lots of style and size options.. without a doubt the best selection in this area. Also shoe department with work boots and shoes. Scrubs as well. Very neat, orderly, clean store with friendly employees. Lots of parking right outside the door. Open early. Also accessories like socks, belts, wallets ..when I visited, they had some nice clearance racks as well. We went in for a belt.. paid more than we expected but then again the belt was a lot nicer than expected and found the size we needed so worth it! Also grabbed some socks. We will be back for some work jeans as well.”
“I will say. I went into buckle a few times the past couple weeks...outstanding service and the hyping up is beyond me...I'm amazed with how customer service is...the time an effect the employees put into the customer is great...especially with fashion.”
“This is the first time I was in A fancy suit store, I had the pleasure of meeting Leecua who helped me figure out what my sizes was And was more than willing to help me find what I needed.
Of course, as expected with nice clothing comes a hefty price tag. It did not seem outrageous though. As all the clothing was of high quality.

“This one's for Mars!!! I was a few days away from being a bridesmaids in a wedding and had no idea what to do about makeup, Mars walked over from the perfume section and literally made my whole day! Not only did she match my shade dead on but showed me how to apply it and explained what she was doing and why. She was seriously amazing and if I ever need to go back I'm asking for her personally. Thanks hun!”

along with 3 workers who like to act like they're doin somethin
This is very normal for me to be racially profiled anywhere I go
it's the worse feelin
I just try to ignore it
it wasn't till I got to meet Brandon
who checked me out at the cash register that I felt like I was treated like a person
