I attempted to make a payment to this Bellevue/Redmond company (it's not Bellingham) and one of their head employees, Gwen Metcalf, refused to even listen to me or explain anything. She was abusive and rude from the start of the conversation and threatened me a number of times, then refused to carry on and said she would make sure I had to pay them even more. I was confused because I had thought I was speaking with the hospital, but it turns out it was this collection agency. Before I could offer to pay she just started going on a rant about how she would take it to the next step (i.e.charge even more, ruin my credit etc) and try to make things harder for me. Furthermore, after she hung up she would not answer the phone again. People such as this lady, being vindictive and spiteful, can really try to mess with you - like I honestly felt totally creeped out because she sounded like a total psychopath. We, the people who are abused in these situations, need to go through the law to address this. Sad but true. I am making another attempt to pay my debt here before I take this the legal route. But it seems this company is more bent on screwing people than actually taking their $. Crazy, right?

Horrible business. I attempted to negotiate payment as I was in massive debt outside what they were collecting on. They refused to negotiate and accept a payment plan beyond 12 months. My payment plan would have had me payed off within 18 months that I suggested. The representative I spoke with on my most recent call was very rude when I was talking about my struggles with the company. All she wanted from me was a payment she said in a rude tone.

It is what it is, I have a debt that I didn't pay (or didn't catch as a duplicate) and they call. I pay what's an actual debt, and otherwise they'll call and I'll go through the steps to dispute anything illegitimate. When it's an actual debt, I pay, when I don't they'll call, then I ignore their calls, then pay when I can; business as usual....

This company is nothing more than an extortion ring. They charge 12% interest on medical bills. They are rude and threatening. All they care about is getting into your paycheck and stealing money from you.
