I went to this place as my primary mechanic and oil change place for about a year. One oil change they use the parts for a completely different car, causing a catastrophic oil leak (literally all six quarts would pour out as soon as I turned on the engine) and likely permanent engine damage as a result. They took their sweet time fixing it (about six weeks), didn't offer to pay for a rental or anything and left me without a car for over a month.
I also brought it in repeatedly as my check engine light was on; they kept just saying they couldn't duplicate any issues and clearing the code without actually looking into anything. I took it to another place and there are issues with the accelerator positioning sensor, the throttle body, the transmission control module, the ABS and the traction control systems. There was an issue with my emergency brake that I asked them about multiple times that was resolved when jiffy lube topped up the brake fluid, which I'm horrified they had never bothered to check. There was a rats nest by the air intake too.
When I brought it in to get these codes looked at, I trusted them to do the bare minimum of investigation instead of just clearing the codes and telling me everything was fine. I genuinely feel they put my safety at risk with this level of indifference, and while I've heard they were better in the past, I would not recommend this place to anyone going forward.

This business was recommended by a long time customer. The cost of repairs was going to exceed the value of the car. They recognized that and advised against fixing it rather than pushing for the repair. Honest, knowledgeable, and friendly staff.

These guys are the BOMB. Another shop, a well-known name brand tire shop, refused to make any temporary repairs and instead tried to sell me a pair of tires at double the price available elsewhere. After chatting with Nathan at Meridian, I had my kid take the car there, and understanding that we needed a temporary solution, they found a used tire and mounted it and rotated the tires for about 1/15th of what the other shop wanted. When I'm in B'ham, I will only do business with Meridian.

Did an alignment on my 2014 Q50. My car is not lowered much but still has a full lip kit around the car and adjustable suspension. They did the alignment with no issues and gave me a very fair price. Definitely recommend coming here!

Absolutely stellar service... Rick let me know well ahead of my appointment that he would be unable to service my AC due to the year of my vehicle, and followed up with advice towards another reputable local shop that specializes in the services I require.
Lesser mechanics would have fumbled this interaction, and I greatly appreciate the honesty & direction.
Meridian A&T is where I'll be heading first should I need anything else for my Civvy!
