Highly recommend! Trust worthy and great to work with!I can’t say enough about the care, kindness, and quality we received working with Zach and his team! We had so much work that needed to be done on our Mitsubishi eclipse, and they were so fast they got it done 3 days early!They were honest and transparent throughout. They put together a profile of photos to show the process and the work needed, and were more than willing to jump on a phone call with me to talk through all my questions.They went out of their way to find a few parts that were needed in order to get the work done sooner, and even stayed after closing for us so that we could get our car that night.Highly highly recommend Rod’s Japanese Auto! Thank you Zach and team. Our car is purring like a kitten. :)

I am feeling confident in this company. I am a brand new customer, and they were very straightforward and helpful about what my car needed in order to be winterized.I gave it four stars because I felt there should've been more communication as to when my car was going to be worked on. I had a schedule that day and the check up on the car got started quite late but I came in early. Had I known, I would've asked. It is probably on me.Having said that, they were very transparent about everything. Sean called this an "eyes on" appointment. In the end, all they need to do, at this time, was to change the oil and rotate the tires. Another cool thing they do is send PDFs of photos of the parts of the car that need to be "watched".So, they didn't do more than they needed to. They asked when I'd like to come in next, not pressuring me for the next check up appointment.So far, I recommend this company! Plus, the place is so darn quiet! Lovely.Services: Tire rotations

I took my Lexus to rods to get my trunk fixed, they were pleasant in the beginning, however I feel they up charged me for the diagnosis of the particular issue. Additionally, while my car was being repaired I remained in contact with them and they were very communicative to begin. However, they then proceeded to lose the number I was contacting them on and because of this they didn’t inform me that my car was fixed until nearly a week later (car was done Thursday, Rods is closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday). I was only made -aware of my car being fixed the following Wednesday when I called as I didn’t hear from them for awhile. On a lighter note, the car they provided while mine was being repaired was very nice Subaru Outback and did its job well. Just my opinion, take it or leave it ?

Had my car towed here when it randomly died while I was driving. The shop determined the repairs were going to be quite extensive - far more than I was willing to invest. They gave me a break on the diagnostic because they knew I didn't want to dump a lot into the car. I cannot thank them enough for being honest and helpful. I would recommend Rod's Japanese Auto Care to anyone looking to have their Subaru or other vehicle worked on.

I've taken two different vehicles to Rod's and I'm a big fan. They're fast, honest, and reliable. They work with my budget, helping me prioritize the repairs that will keep me on the road. Hayden was my contact point at Rod's. He did a thorough job communicating with me about the diagnostics done on my Prius. I was supposed to have two diagnostics tests done on my vehicle, however, the technician found an issue in the first diagnosis and suggested not doing the second one to save me money as fixing the first issue could take care of the second. I am thankful for both their expertise and money saving advice. I will be back to Rod's for sure!Services: Auto engine diagnostic

Awesome experience from drop off to pick up. These guys are the seasoned professionals we've been looking for!Accurate estimates, thorough inspections, quick turn around times, friendly staff and a warranty on parts. It really does exist, at Rods!Zack even offered instruction pdf's to help with work we can do ourselves. This was our first time in and we are totally impressed, satisfied customers for life! I bought/shipped a Porsche Turbo from a dealer in ********. When it arrived the air-con blew hot. After reading stellar reviews I took it to Rod's Japanese Auto Care @ **** Guide in ********** **. They proposed to diagnose and fix the problem; it was obvious the system was low on refrigerant. I wanted to know if air-con was simple recharge or significant as dealer should repair in that case. Hands down the best auto shop I have ever taken my vehicle to. I've always been nervous when taking my car in due to the inexperience of the technicians and the lack of care they have for my property. That has NEVER been a fear of mine at Rod's. Everything from management to technicians/mechanics is flawless. They communicate with you and give you a chance to ask questions and feel comfortable with the work they are providing and what needs to be done in the future to keep your car in tip top shape. Brittany is always a pleasure to talk to and watching her with her team is something you don't find in most work environments. You see them interact with such respect towards each other. You feel like family as soon as you step through those doors! Zach at the front desk is always smiling and knows how to put a smile on the customers face after cracking some jokes between setting you up. I will continue doing all my business here and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a shop!
