About Sunnyland Square
Sunnyland Square is a popular strip mall in Bellingham. Its primary draw is Trader Joe’s, a very busy store that is highly recommended for good reason. The store offers a great selection of unique foods and items at reasonable, competitive prices. The staff are consistently noted as friendly, engaging, helpful, and polite. Shoppers should be mindful that some specific items, like the steamed chicken dumplings, are high in sodium, while others, like the coconut aminos, provide a low-sodium alternative. The square houses a variety of other great businesses, contributing to its overall value and convenience. Parking is generally decent with tons of spaces, but the lot is very busy and can be a pain, especially at peak times. Visitors note the parking lot does not have the best lighting at night, making stripes hard to see when raining. The atmosphere is pleasant, and it is a good destination for a mix of shopping needs.
The parking lot is awful. They're trying to cram too many cars in there. The spaces are too small. It's just one of the reasons I dislike Trader Joe's.

Now that there's a 2nd TJs in B'ham, this store is much easier to navigate and the parking is good. I love Trader Joe's!
