Great coaching. Noticed an exercise was aggravating my back and immediately changed how I was doing it and then my back felt great.Tonia is always watching and giving feedback and is so kind. And she lets me stay late and stretch.I am very pleased.

Tonia's programming is truly incredible. The intention behind it along with her focus on form have kept me free from injury and making significant progress in the gym in such a short time as well as able to enjoy and excel at the things I love to do outside of the gym! The community is wonderful and so fun to be a part of. So thankful to have found Terrain!

Been going to Terrain consistently for a few years. Tonia has changed our bodies (my wife and I) and our lives! Strength training is a vital component of good fitness, and Tonia guides you through that in a safe, fun, effective way. The group environment is great for pushing you forward, and the classes are always varied but with a progressive goal in mind. The gym is well equipped with everything you need. We recommend Terrain to everyone who asks, and even those who don't! It's also great as a physician, to be able to send patients her way to improve muscle mass, range of motion, and mobility, knowing that she will keep all of their physical needs as a priority. Such an asset to our community! Thanks Tonia!

BEST gym and BEST nutritional coaching! Tonia is a well of knowledge and has helped me immensely with my performance in and outside of the gym both through training and nutrition. She invests and gets to the root cause(s) of issues.She never uses a single approach for everyone but instead looks at the individual and caters to exactly what one needs.Highly recommend!

I have been working out consistently with Terrain since Fall 2021. Since this time, I have experienced an increase in my athletic performance - both inside and outside of the gym. Seeing gains in strength, speed and endurance. My running, cycling and golf game have never been better!I am grateful for the expert programming, compassionate and motivating coaches and a great group of athletes to train with. Thank you Terrain!

It's the best training for all levels and all activities. It's strength and conditioning for real life activities. Terrain has trained me to climb Rainier and Mt Shuksan and skin up, ski down Mt Baker. All three summits with ease. Thank you Terrain.

I've been at Terrain for several years. I am so happy to be a part of the Terrain family. I attend the early morning class. Everyone is very positive and encouraging. Over the years I have had different injuries. Tonia is excellent with modifications so you can continue your workouts and still heal. Tonia is very knowledgeable and professional. I truly appreciate her expertise and I highly recommend Terrain.

Joining Terrain has radically changed my approach to fitness and has resulted in getting in the best health and shape I’ve been in in over 20 years. The coaching at Terrain gives professional expertise with a personable approach. The focus on strength training has greatly improved my ongoing back issues on top of increased fitness overall. Being apart of a specific session has provided the camaraderie and “in it together” motivation that keeps me accountable and consistent. I can’t say enough about how amazing this gym is. I absolutely recommend it.

As a long time client, I appreciate how the scheduled workouts can be modified to accommodate injuries, etc. As long as you are not in a body cast, Tonia can customize a workout for you! Great equipment, Great program, Great like minded people to motivate you to a higher level of fitness! Whether you are recovering from an injury or preparing for a sport or physical challenge, Terrain will help you achieve your goals!!Definitely 5 stars!!

After seven years of CrossFit which resulted in numerous injuries, I needed to find something new that could help me achieve my goals of strength, mobility and endurance without destroying my body. I've been with Terrain for several years now and can say it continues to check all those boxes for me.What I particularly like is Tonia's (owner) approach to programming. Each of the 4-8 week sessions she puts together is well thought out with clearly defined progressions and regular assessments along the way. Tonia is very transparent about her programming and is happy to talk through with you the goals and objectives at any time.Additionally, Tonia is very adept at putting high quality modifications in place for you. I experienced a significant wrist injury while mountain biking over a year ago that involved surgery and months of rehab. Tonia worked closely with me to put programming in place to meet my limitations during that time.Considering all of the above, I highly recommend Terrain for anyone looking for a top-tier gym. The membership prices are worth every penny.

Terrain is by far the best “gym” I have ever joined. I emphasize gym because it’s more than just a place to stay and get fit. It’s a community and an experience. Tonia and her trainers actually get to know you to make personalized suggestions within the currated workout sessions. There is purpose that goes in to the multi-week long series, which keeps a goal in mind but than changes after a few weeks to keep you engaged. As mentioned there is a sense that you are getting a one-on-one training session but within a non-judgmental group settings to help feed off other’s energy. If I can’t make a session there is always the open gym to pound out what I need on my own. Shower makes it convenient so I can head straight to work after.

I can't say enough amazing things about my first few months at Terrain. As a trail runner, I've known I need to add strength training and could not have found a better fit. With Tonia, you feel like you're getting personal training while having the community experience and encouragement. If you haven't tried it out, you should! (I wish I had sooner)
