The Comics Place is a local business that has served Bellingham's comic nerd needs since 1982. It is a really cool comics and games shop with an incredible and killer selection of comic books, plus board games, role playing games, card games, and nerd ephemera like t-shirts and Funko POP figures. The shop is clean with cool decorations and everything is really well organized, with staff recommendations posted around. It is known as a place openly friendly towards women and queer folks, where customers never feel uncomfortable or talked down to. The staff are totally awesome people, always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and down to help find something new. They offer subscription services, preorders, hand delivery, shipping, and special orders. It is a favorite stop for families, with board books and novelty items for children. Prices are retail and reasonable. It is a great place and customers are encouraged to absolutely spend their money there.

Comics both old and new, graphic novels, board games, dice, children's books, colectibles, and more. Staff were friendly and helpful. So glad we have this store in Bellingham.

I found a title/cover I've been hunting for recently.... nice to patronize a local business and actually be able to inspect the product prior to purchasing. I've not had great luck buying online unless the book was slabbed, so this was "Amazing"??
