Buy extra pizza dough, they always sell out of it. Update: with the new Joe's opening on Meridian, things are a lot less crazy here at James Street. You can find a parking spot, not worry about negotiating your cart, less time at checkout, but still no pizza dough. Guess I will have to make my own..

I visited Trader Joe’s in Bellingham recently, and it was a great experience. The store is clean, bright, and has a fun, welcoming vibe. The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made shopping feel relaxed and easy.
I was really hoping to find the new small Trader Joe’s tote bag that everyone’s talking about, but the staff said they won’t have it in stock until October. That was a bit disappointing, but I still ended up buying the older version of the mini tote. It’s a nice little bag—sturdy, cute, and useful for carrying a few things around. Not the newest one, but it’ll do for now!
While I was there, I also picked up a jar of guava jam, which looked interesting—and it’s delicious! It has a nice tropical flavor that goes great on toast or with cheese. I also grabbed a chocolate almond spread that tastes a lot like Nutella, but with a nuttier twist. Really good!
Overall, I liked shopping at this new location. It wasn’t too crowded, parking was easy, and they had most of my favorite Trader Joe’s products. I’ll definitely come back in October to check if the new mini bags are in.

This location is not as big as the other locations I've been to. It also feel like it's located in the middle of no where. (Although, Thai restaurant in the same plaza was delish!)
When we visited, the parking lot was hectic. Inside was even crazier! I've never seen Trader Joe's so busy before. It wasn't fun and I didn't get to enjoy the shopping experience like I usually do at Trader Joe's.
None of the employees I've interacted with was friendly here. At cash lane, the cashier was very robotic, no greeting, no thank you, no goodbye, no eyes contact. He practically just shove the receipt at me and continued chewing his gum loudly.
If I don't have to I wouldn't return to this location :/ but everyone experiences is different, don't take my words for it. I might have gone at a weird time.

Most of my experiences here have been positive but today was the exception. I received very poor customer service at the checkout when an associate insisted I be carded for non-alcoholic beer. She was very rude and demanding and I've purchased it dozens of times before without being hassled to show my ID.

I could leave a bad review about the parking nightmare there, but that isn't this or any Trader Joe's fault.

Came at a fairly busy time but it was still easy to get around and grab what we needed. Also the staff were very helpful when I needed to find things. Parking was a bit of a challenge had to wait about 10mins but other then that was a great experience as usual even though have not been here for a while.
