** If you reserve a one-way truck, CALL THEM the day of your reservation and make sure it’s actually there. **
Someone didn’t come back with our truck and nobody informed us til we arrived at our confirmed pickup time. Spent almost 3 hours (with several hired movers on the clock) driving to another town and back before the movers could start.
Marc Evans with U-Haul corporate told us there’s nothing they can do to reimburse us for mover time, and refused to give me the contact info of anyone else at the company who we or a lawyer could speak to.
Call your movers and see if they have recommendations for other truck rentals near you!

Jessie IS THE BEST WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE!
This guy was close to closing and we had a reservation for a trailer and he helped us out walking in at a close time to closing. He was very helpful to get this done for us even though there were some issues with our reservation. Great guy and I highly recommend him to continue the great work. Best manager I’ve ever come across. Jessie is the man. We drove 5hours and he made it happen last minute and made sure everything was right.

I needed a truck to get something that just wouldn't fit on my personal car. Got the truck, got the product, took it home, gassed the truck back up, and returned the truck. Easy peasy! The ONLY negative thing was I couldn't figure out how the heck to alter the angle of the side mirrors, so I did some contorting to see things using them. Other than that - truck was clean and easy.

Make sure you take a picture of the odometer and really understand what you will be paying at the end. I rented the pick up for "19.95$" a day. I only had the truck about 11 hours because of a reservation the following day. I was ok with that, until the final bill after the 12$ in gas I put in was $105.00 for 11 hours of usage. Also I picked up in the end of the day so I really had half that. That's including overnight. It's just extremely deceiving to see that $19.95 on the side and you end up paying 5x that amount. I obviously paid my bill and returned the truck on time, but I will never give another cent to u haul. I would honestly not be surprised if the employees got paid commission based on how they hike up everything. Very frustrating, and I feel scammed, I understand it's not gonna be the 20$ the truck advertises with "in town miles fees" but i don't expect the price to be 5x that! Never again U haul.

Some really nice guys.I rented a motorcycle trailer from Bellingham meridian U-Haul, 01-12-24The trailer turned out to not light up due to wire malfunction.I forgot to ask the kind individual who kindly refuted my charge with a refund of the trailer since we weren’t able to take it far. I think they had a piercing and tattoo.The process was very simple, easy and fast. I also recommend downloading the U-Haul app and then just deleting it after finishing active rentals.i won’t go into detail but the app is pretty useful.

John and Jessi quite honestly saved my a** by helping me shove about a million boxes into my Honda civic coupe. I came to them at the end of an absolutely terrible day, needing packing materials for a very unplanned move caused by a negligent landlord and an unsafe living situation. Amidst all the stress, I did not think through how I was going to fit 83 boxes into my tiny car. John and Jessi immediately helped me get it taken care of so that I didn’t have to make an extra trip back to the store. I am so grateful for their help and understanding. They were nothing but kind and accommodating and truly were a bright spot in an otherwise terrible situation. Whatever they're getting paid, they should get paid more. Thank you so much.

We had a terrible experience here. The employee who checked us in after returning the truck was pretty rude when we mentioned we picked the truck up with a half tank of gas and we returned the truck full. We were told to not expect a reimbursement for the full tank. That’s fine.It was the way we were treated. The customer service was not friendly.
