“Fountain Veterinary Clinic is truly exceptional and Dr. Dave Hargrove is the best veterinarian. He is kind, funny, thorough, and genuinely cares not only about the animals he treats, but also about the people who love them. I’ve been bringing my pets here for three years for both routine care and emergencies and every experience has been outstanding.
Dr. Dave is incredibly patient and generous with his time. He always makes sure all of our questions are answered and that we leave with a clear, thoughtful care plan. I’ve never once felt rushed, and I’ve never been pushed toward unnecessary services or procedures. Their pricing is reasonable, and the quality of care is consistently excellent.
When we faced the heartbreaking loss of our beloved dog, the compassion and support from Dr. Dave and the entire Fountain Vet team meant the world to us. They guided us through an incredibly difficult moment with empathy and grace.
This clinic is thorough, kind, and truly dedicated to the well‑being of pets and their families. Fountain Veterinary Clinic has taken wonderful and I highly recommend them!”

“i’ve meant to write this review for awhile, but this clinic saved my cats life. my cat is my sun and my moon, about a year ago my cat fell extremely sick, she had pus in her lungs, severe breathing issues and we were all very sure she wouldn’t make it. i had taken my cat to the emergency vet 3 times who each time told me to put her down; and this vet never gave up. i had 3 doctors working on my cat; emily knoff, galen groff and laura noe. all of these vets were the most kind, supportive, and knowledgeable vets i could ever ask for. laura noe was my main vet, who further pushed me into getting the proper medication and tests for my cat. they supported me even outside of the office and always opened appointments for me to get my cat in to do scans on her chest and make sure she was okay. dr. noe was extremely knowledgeable and supported me in every single way possible, and was able to ultimately provide every right medication and treatment to save my cats life. i cannot speak highly enough about this team and the doctors here, i am so thankful for every single amount of support and care they gave to my cat, and i am eternally grateful for their practice, knowledge, and kindness. i am so grateful for chuckanut feline center 🩷 thank you”
“We are so grateful for our awesome vet! One thing we really appreciate is they can get our dogs in quickly. We walked away from other vets who couldn’t see our dogs within a reasonable time frame when they had an infection or other thing that required an exam and medication. Mountain vet works hard to squeeze in our dogs when they need to be seen! They are professional, caring, and excellent with animals. Highly recommend!”

“We took our dog in yesterday, for an ultrasound with fine needle aspiration. I was so impressed. We got results same day from the ultrasound pictures, he was going to look at the slides from the FNA that night and right a report to go out the next day. He was able to sedate my very anxious dog. He had a great table-side manner. It's a bummer he's semi- retired but you can tell he really loves his job and is great with animals. Very calming nature.”

“We were grateful that the Village Veterinary Hospital was able to examine our cat on short notice. Dr. Foote and Annie Muller were thoughtful, knowledgeable, communicative, and caring. We’re visiting the area, and they went out of their way to get our cat’s health history/records from our veterinarian back home and used them to help with diagnosing her problem.”
“It was fast and efficient. Staff was friendly. The only thing I would like to suggest is that they give a paper vaccination record rather than a PDF.
I like to keep records in a file for my pet for crossing the border etc.”
“Our Shepard mix had his teeth ultrasonically cleaned today without the use of anesthesia. The short procedure went very well. Besides being much less costly than with the use of anesthesia the procedure is safer with little risk, unlike with anesthesia. He had his vitals checked before the procedure.”
“They were incredibly kind and patient and attentive. I didn't feel rushed or dismissed with any of my 7 million questions. They were all great. The worst place to end up in the middle of the night on vacation but I don't think I could have ended up anywhere better.
I'm really not sure why there are so many negative reviews about the cost. I felt it was more than reasonable. and as far as wait times... it's a 24 hour emergency clinic they are as quick as they can be.”

“Beyond impressed with the staff here at Bellingham Veterinary. They were able to fit my girl in same day as out of towners when she hurt her leg & had a severe limp. They were very informative during the whole visit & even let me stay in the office while my pup was sedated for xrays. They were understanding when I asked for my vet records to bring to my vet back home & emailed them to me while I was there!”
“I have a senior dog and needed Immediate Care for multiple health issues, I was amazed with how nice everybody was and how quickly we got a plan put together and started that day that I went in for a checkup, this is a place to go if you are worried about Hefty bill they are willing to work with you, so you can have a healthy pet and keep your mind also at ease!”
