I have been a WECU member for over 20 years after having moved to Western Washington and having had to uproot my banking. I tried a couple of the big banks and had a lot of trouble with them, and their customer service wasn't all that great (although some individuals did stand out). I started banking with WECU and was delighted by their friendly and efficient customer service and the scope of its services. I have never had issues with transactions, and when my debit card number was used fraudulently to purchase several thousand dollars worth of airfare, they acted immediately to block further purchases, disable the card, issue me a new card AND they got me back my money the next day. I recently had my bag stolen, along with my WECU debit and credit cards. Within minutes of the loss, I was able to disable my cards. Within a couple of hours, I was able to stop in, make sure the cards were canceled, check that no new transactions were made, and walked out with brand new cards in my hand. The teller was SO concerned and lovely! In short, I'm very pleased with WECU and plan to keep my main banking with them.

Saturday hours are really helpful. My sons love taking their coins in the the counting/sorting machine!

I am always met with a smile and a nice greeting. The employees are so helpful and patient with the customers. And they so often accomplish what I think of as impossible with speed and knowledge. I have a lot of admiration for their staff.

I switched to WECU after over 20 years with a large national bank. WECU has been such a breath of fresh air. I love their online account access, and every time I’ve had an issue I call and a REAL PERSON immediately answers who can help me out. Their lines in the bank are sort and move quickly. Also my son opened his first credit card with them and they gave him great terms, which is unheard of for someone with no credit. Very happy I made the move!

WECU has always been a place that has treated me fairly and friendly. Everyone here is super nice and helpful. Recommend all my family and friends change to them and have convinced quite a few to do so. Sure there are sometimes long lines at the branch but it doesnt take too long to get through and help each person.

Beta was soooo amazing she helped me unblock my card and gave me good advice to get another just in case. She was so sweet and kind. Great customer service

WECU is the most dishonest financial institution I've worked with. A few years ago, I opened an credit card with them. Every month they claimed that my payments "arrived late", and charged me all sorts of late fees. I'd been paying using the same online service for 20 years with other institutions without issue. I had a WECU loan on my Jeep. Recently, I traded in the Jeep for a Mini. The Mini dealer paid off my Jeep loan at WECU THREE WEEKS AGO. WECU claims they still haven't received the payments, even though FedEx shows that they delivered the check to WECU weeks ago. They are just delaying things to continue charging interest on a loan that should have been paid off and closed nearly a month ago. I'm not doing business with WECU ever again.

Love WECU, been with them for years. Since BoA started charging people for not having enough money. Credit Unions are the way.

Love this local bank! The tellers work hard and are friendly even when they are overwhelmed with customers on occasion. I do understand the Sunset location problems with long lines but they have gotten better each time I have gone back.

The fact that they force you to use two factor authentication for mobile banking and yet only allow phone is not only incredibly stupid, but effectively a classist policy. I work in the IT field an know that 2FA is important, but to force it with the only option being phone has caused me a great deal of difficulty in times of losing my phone or choosing not to have one. This is an ongoing problem that I know many people have had encountered and yet WECU does nothing.
