WinCo Foods is a popular grocery store known for its wide variety and bulk food selection, often described as a blend of Superstore and Costco. Many customers appreciate the decent prices, making it a great option for families and those on a budget, especially when it first opened in Bellingham. Shoppers often highlight the friendly and helpful staff, contributing to a positive shopping experience. However, some reviews express concerns about rising prices since around 2018, with reports of customer service declining and issues with cleanliness in the store. Customers have noted problems with produce quality, recommending that shoppers seek fresh items elsewhere. The checkout area can also become crowded, leading to frustrating wait times. Despite these drawbacks, WinCo remains a favorite for many, with its employee-owned model adding to its charm. While it is no longer open 24 hours, customers still find it a worthwhile stop for their grocery needs, often traveling from nearby areas to shop there. The store's commitment to variety and value continues to attract loyal customers who appreciate the range of products available.
Among the best prices in town. Only thing that might compare is Cash N Carry for certain things. I think even cheaper than Costco for most things.

Great prices, good selection. Debit cards or cash only. Produce section is really good. Lots of bulk items like nuts, beans, dried fruit, flour, ect. You can put your debit card in before they're done checking out, you go bag your grocery, and they hand you the receipt.
