This is at the top of a hill with many other wineries to visit on your way up or down. We started here and never made it anywhere else that day! Brandon was our host and he was amazing! I have visited hundreds of wineries and I learned more from Brandon that day than anywhere else. It was very helpful having a map of the area to go along with his teachings. The wine was fantastic and there is small food plates for pairings as well. The outside area has wonderful views too! I would definitely recommend this place! Thanks Brandon for making it so special for the 3 of us girls!

Experienced a lot of the red mountain wineries, they are all great, were with friends from Seattle, and were hoping to find a hidden gem, this is it! The wines are great, the server (Brandon) was exceptional, he knew everything about the wine, explained how the different soils and growing conditions affect the various wines, truly a first class experience.

Enjoyed a tasting. Was able to bring our dog on the well shaded patio. Will return when in town again.

Can't say enough great things about our two-night stay in the vineyard. Avennia's newly remodeled guest house is very nice: comfortably sleeps 4 adults (two couples in our case), 2.5 bathrooms felt like an abundance, 4 decks, BIG hot tub/swimming spa combo. We had morning coffee on the east deck with some of the oldest cab franc vines on Red Mountain 10 feet away, sunset on the west deck overlooking the cab sauv downslope, and with the tasting room 100 feet away (some of the best Rhones and Bordeauxs around) we had multiple opportunities to sample wine and chat with staff...and we also took some wine back to our place to relax and enjoy with snacks. We summited Red Mountain both mornings (10-20 minutes from bottom to top) and mostly just hung out and relaxed. Annual Solstice parties were happening at wineries up and down Sunset Road, and Avennia did it right with live jazz and pizzas made-to-order. In the unlikely event you need additional perspectives on winemaking, head down the road to Fidelitas, Hedges, or any of several other quality wineries surrounded by some of the most well-known vineyards in Washington State. We're grateful to Marty Taucher and Chris Peterson for these excellent wines (as well as shared expertise and great conversation as always), and especially want to thank Shelly and Eli Traverse, our hosts, for close attention to our every need while also preserving the peaceful illusion of being alone with the grapes.

Avennia in Benton City will forever have a piece of my heart. I was fortunate enough to have had my wedding here. The views are stunning, the wine is amazing and Eli & Shelly were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this tasting room if you want to enjoy a nice evening with some fabulous wine.

We had an amazing time at Avennia. Every one of the wines we tried were amazing, and the service was even better. Fantastic view and great charcuterie board. We will definitely be back soon!

The wines here are very well made. The prices are reasonable. A friend and I went there to taste as they had just opened. They also have a tasting room in Woodinville. The wines are fantastic. There are great views of the valley with indoor and outdoor seating. A must visit tasting room.
