Atesh of REM contacted me when I listed my truck for sale on FaceBook Marketplace.
He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He made me a fair offer, with no haggling or low-balling, and then he absolutely did everything he said he would do. No surprises. I felt safe dealing with him. He e-transferred me a deposit, then we arranged to meet at his bank, so that I was with him when he got the bank draft, and he handed it straight to me, so that I would know it was legit.
He handled all the paperwork, and even offered to drive me home from the bank. I would have felt safe to accept, which is huge for a man I'd never met before this. But since he had already travelled to my neighbourhood to meet me, I opted to go to my bank, and then the insurance office to cancel the truck's insurance, and then walk the short distance home.
He has such a pleasant, knowledgeable and professional manner. Selling a vehicle privately is a minefield, and he made it easy and pleasant.
I would recommend dealing with him for sure, and if I had occasion, I would definitely choose to buy or sell with him again.

Had these guys bring my truck down and it was a fiasco. Nice enough guys BUT I had them convert the speedo which was the start of my problems. When I first picked the truck up, a bit later than originally quoted, I was happy and set off for home. Unfortunately I discovered three issues on my way. The first was the radio no longer working, speedo lights faulty, and heater control lights not working. Additionally as I drove down the road doing the speed limit I felt I was going pretty fast. A police officer pulled me over for speeding which verified my suspicion. The speedo read about 17mph under actual. So took the truck back and was advised they would have to pull the speedo and take it back to Canada to fix. The radio and heater control lights I was advised had nothing to do with them even though they worked fine in Canada although they would look at it. So another week or so went by and I returned to pick up the truck only to find the dash and door all marred up from someone when trying to get the speedo out. As well it wasn't even put back together properly which he fixed at the time. The speedo worked, speed lights were fixed, but the other two were not. So my advice, a straight import is probably just fine but I highly suggest you refrain from allowing them to work on your vehicle.

Despite every appearance of being a fly-by-night, shady company,* they are legit, and gave good service. Communication was a bit slow (several days to respond,) but made the process of importing a car from Canada to USA easy.
*20 cars from auction in their driveway, operate the business out of their living room in tee-shirts and sweatpants with kids playing all around, house and yard in messy disarray with lots of supplies for temperature cosmetic fixes to vehicles, you make out your payment to a different company name, US location is like an impound lot with hundreds of vehicles
