I’m a big online shopper and been picking up packages here for years and have spent hundreds of dollars if not more and for the most part haven’t had issues.
With a combination of the uncertainty with things going on at the US/Canada border earlier in the year on top of a personal reason I wasn’t able to pick up packages as frequently as usual.
Eventually I went to pick up packages for a final time until things were cleared up for cross border shoppers.
Just recently I decided to get back to online shopping after it seems things have somewhat calmed down so I went to UPS to renew my account.
I was told there were late fees of about $100 on my account that weren’t charged when I last picked up my packages months ago. Apparently the employee mistakenly missed this. I was told I was sent emails about this (which I’ve yet to see or find but that’s besides the point) I was then told I’d have to pay the late fees to open my account again. Which is fine, it’s their business they can run it however they’d like.
The issue that hasn’t been sitting right with me is that I was told by the employee helping me that management had the employee who made the mistake pay the fees out of pocket. This shocked me. I’m not familiar with employment laws in Washington but this doesn’t sound legal nor is it ethical.
Ultimately, I decided not to reopen the account. Paying $100 (which could cover dozens of packages at the business I previously used before UPS that has similar rates) didn’t make sense for me. I also feel uneasy supporting a business knowing employees are treated this way over making mistakes which is highly unfortunate because the employees have always been great in my experience.

Terrible service Arrived on the dot at 6pm and the staff wouldn't let me pick up my package, not only that they lost my package in previous transaction but they refused to acknowlege that they lost it. Will look for other mailbox service and I recommend everyone to do the same.

I'm not sure why there are negative reviews but my experience with them has always been good. Have been using the mailbox for more than a year and would recommend them!

Tried to schedule an appointment for notary service 3 times. The first time the notary wasn't at work but no one decided to call the people who had appointments. The next time I scheduled they called me the day of and said it was too late in the day. I tried to call again to reschedule, but no one answered the phone. Went to a different notary after this.

I had a mixed experience with this UPS location. I drove from Vancouver, BC, to pick up some packages that were delivered on April 12th, but they weren’t ready for pickup when my husband went earlier in the day. On April 26th, I went back to pick them up, along with a couple of other packages that had arrived on April 25th.
Initially, an employee tried to help me, but he could only find packages from the 15th. I mentioned that there were packages from the 12th that had arrived later after my husband left, but he couldn’t locate them. During this time, the store was relatively quiet, yet the store owner seemed agitated, pacing back and forth. Eventually, she intervened and said, “Hey, we’re very busy here, and we can’t keep going to the back to look for your package.” Her attitude was abrupt, and it felt like she wasn’t interested in helping.
After 40 minutes of waiting outside, I decided to return and ask them to check for my packages again. When I walked back in, the owner bluntly told me that I hadn’t paid for a previous visit, which was true and I did not realize I had to pay. So I said I was glad I came back.
, but when I offered to pay, she brushed me off, stating they were too busy to deal with my request. I decided to step back and wait for someone else to help.
As the owner collected a couple of large bags of cash from the counter and left, another employee, Lee Quan, approached and offered his assistance. I explained my situation, and he seemed to understand. He was courteous and said he would check for the missing packages. It only took him a minute to find them. I was so relieved and thanked him profusely. Even the first employee acknowledged Lee Quan’s effort.
Lee Quan’s professionalism and customer service were outstanding, and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. However, the owner’s abrasive attitude made the experience quite stressful. If you’re dealing with this location, I suggest being patient and hoping you get someone like Lee Quan to help you.

I’m only rating this location 3/5 stars because there this one skinny, young East Indian punk that works there and thinks he’s cool by talking Ebonics and dropping fbombs in front of customers like me then carelessly closing my return item in a bag and slapping the label onto my package. I especially find it obnoxious when he pretends to hand me my receipt then pulls it away like it’s a funny joke.? Unfortunately, it’s not the first time he’s done this to me either, so beware if you’re ever in there and this lanky, tall Indian boy is working there. He’s either a total moron or incredible arrogant to treat customers like that. I hope the owner or manager of this ups store in Blaine corrects such juvenile and rude behavior from this one employee! Thankfully, everyone else is nice and courteous.
