Been a customer 4 or 5 times here, but that didn't matter.Made an appointment with Bonney Lake Collision 1 in October and they were booked out to January, then they refused to do the repair after I've been waiting for almost 3 months for the appointment.I call in December to confirm the appointment, no response or call back.Call again January 3 to confirm the appointment, they finally get back to me the next day and say "Sorry we're not going to do the job, changed our minds we don't like your insurance company. You need to start over. So I'm another 90 or so days without being able to use this car.HISTORY:I called them on Dec 21st. No Answer so Left a voice mail - no returnCalled again the next day. No AnswerCalled January 3rd - they answer and say they'll get right back to me. They don't return the call until the next day. Finally get back to me January 4th and tell me to pound sand, we don't like your insurance company. This is a big repair, shops are out about 60+ days. So because of their sub-par business practices it's going to be another 60-90 days without a drivable car - about 6 months in total when it's all doneI even talked to the owner Gary Stamps and he just laughed it off. Zero concern for their major slip up and inconvenience.

Every employee I talked to was very friendly and helpful. Sadly, in the end my car had to be totaled but it wasn't their fault.

DO RESEARCH OTHER PLACES BEFORE YOU COME IN!!!!!! Im not the type to leave reviews but I just needed to say I went in for a quote on the tiniest scratch of paint on my vehicle and I was was given the most atrocious quote possible most likely because I’m young with a nice newer car. Shane was the one who helped me with my quote and wrote me for $3900 but compared to bigger well known shops I was given an average quote of around $800-$1000 for my specific problem. Point is don’t settle for one shop when there’s plenty better for cheaper ALWAYS PRICE MATCH!!!!

Bonney Lake Collision 1 is the number #1 body shop to go to! Absolutely professional and did an outstanding job on my truck. Kindra Crumley went out of her way and took care of my needs after my son had a fender bender in my Silverado. Bryan also took his time with the appraisal and made sure that everything was thoroughly fixed and replaced. Truck looks brand new again.Services: Painting

They fixed a car of mine about 8 years ago and did a fantastic job. Went to them earlier this year to get a front end collision on my Tundra fixed, looked really good asthetically, but...1. They did not bolt my skid plate back on, just left it hanging by by the two little tabs that it hangs on while you bolt the skid plate on. Good thing it didn't fall off!! I had to buy bolts at Home Depot and make my own spacers to replace what they didn't put back!2. They did not plug the tracking headlight connection back into my headlight, so I had to remove the battery to do this!3.I just found out that when the wheels were put back on after they removed my front wheels to work on the truck, they used an impact driver on the McGard locking nut and stripped out the protruded part of the key that fits onto the locking lug. If I had a flat, I would have been screwed! I had to buy an extraction tool to remove these from all four wheels and buy new locking nuts.Taking my truck there has cost me a lot of frustration, time and money. I called them about these issues, and they said I would have to leave the truck with them. I am a contractor and need my truck. They should have done it right the first time!!

*WARNING* DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE.I give Bonney Lake Collision ZERO stars. The previous review stating that they are "scam artists" is 100% correct. My 2020 Toyota Tacoma was rear-ended in December 2022. That same day I took it to BLC for an estimate. The estimator, Shane quickly took pics & then told me that I could remove the rear bumper myself & fix the canopy myself (which I thought was weird). The first available appointment was April 2023 (4 months later). I understood that there was a backlog ahead of me, perhaps a labor shortage, supply chain issues, etc...Someone from BLC called on March 27th to confirm the April 3rd appointment, I thought "fantastic, my truck will finally get fixed!"Shane then called back a few hours later stating that it's going to be another 6 weeks because a part is on back order from Toyota. I asked him, "How can that be?" "We scheduled this appointment 4 months ago?""We only order parts a week out from the appointment" Shane said."If I would have known the parts were that far out, I would have ordered them sooner" Shane said.Shane completely deflected responsibility and instead blamed Toyota. After a few emails back & forth, Gary the owner called me wondering why I was upset, Gary also deflected responsibility & also blamed Toyota. Gary then tells me "I don't want to fix your truck because you won't be happy with our service"Couldn't agree with you more Gary!ZERO STARSReply to Owner: Maybe look ahead 4 to 6 weeks at the upcoming schedule? You see the vehicles scheduled & then check the status of the parts needed. A little planning ahead on your part, would help maintain your customers appointments. After all, that’s the whole point of appointments. Is it an appointment to start the repairs? Or an appointment to order parts? Apparently, it’s the latter. Customers who wait 4 months to get their vehicle repaired, don't want to be told it's going to be another 2 months because your company was not prepared for the scheduled service. After 42 years in business, I would think that would be obvious. If I scheduled an appointment with a roofing company 4 months out to install a new roof on my house? I would expect them to start construction on that date, not tell me, "we just ordered the shingles, see you in 6 to 8 weeks".

They have done work on two of my cars in the past and they are fantastic! A little bit of wait due to the amount of work they get, but we'll worth it!
