“Yesterday was the first time I found my beer on a shelf that I could reach it. It's always been stocked above my head and I've had to find an employee to get it down for me. I've mentioned in comments and yesterday I laughed because it was right where I needed to get it. Also when I came in someone asked me if I needed help and I did and they directed me to a red wine I could use in pot roast and it was great. I actually enjoyed the rest of that bottle of wine myself instead of giving it away.”

“The lady there (didnt get her name) went above an beyond. Not 9npy to grab some of the allocated burbon that was in the back but to get a price that is competitive and not a total rip off like almost every other liquor spot. She even offered to call me when specific stuff comes in, I denied that but will for sure be calling her when I'm looking to treat myself. Today was weller full proof.. she made the offer compelling to skip on the EHT barrel proof which was also less than anyone else that has even had it in stock.See my other reviews on who to stay away from! “safeway on 176th & Canyon Rd. in Puyallup has the most Fabulous Friendly Florist!! OLGA is the most professional florist I have ever done business with. Many florists have standard designs but somehow Olga makes all her orders shine *beautifully*. She is friendly, prompt and helpful with choosing just the right item for any occasion. If you give her floral orders as a gift, you will be really pleased with the smiles they generate. Ive taken over a half dozen to people for this holiday season and I cant express enough how happy each person was. THANK YOU SAFEWAY for employing people like Olga who show how much they care about their job and the people it benefits!!”

“P Safeway needs to step it up and it's not the employee's fault. It's management the people that run the company. They keep cutting staff hours. They don't guarantee them any hours. I believe in each store there's only three people that are actually guaranteed hours but the rest of them just have to wonder if they're going to have enough to pay their rent each month. Everyone that shops at Safeway or Albertsons needs to email, send letters, whatever they can do and contact the company and tell them that they need to keep staff in there. Their automated machines sure they're helpful and sometimes they can be quick. But we need staff to help us to point things out to help us load stuff in our carts. So if you want our business, I suggest you put more staff back in the store and I also suggest that you guarantee their hours. There's no reason that they can't guarantee their employees 40 hours a week. They keep advertising it. They have these great jobs. They're not great jobs. If I had to wonder if I can I was going to be able to pay my rent. I would be looking for another job so I think all they have to do again stay at their stores. I want to see people on those stories. I want to see lines that are open. You want to keep yourself checked out. That's fine but I want to see lines that are open. There's hardly ever a line open when you go into the store now. So contact Safeway tell him to step it up or we're going to shop somewhere else. Thank you for listening to my rant but it is a true rant.
Anyway, my visit obviously New Year's Eve. I was going in there to get liquor for the party and there was one attendant and probably 20 people waiting for liquor. We couldn't carry it up by ourselves. So one one person to do this on New Year's Eve are they crazy? Anyway, that was what's kind of what my rent was all about but it's kind of that way in the store most the time anyway, but it's extremely busy on New Year's Eve and they of course it again didn't think of us. They were just thinking of themselves. Their bottom line is pretty good. I think they can guarantee some staff hours. Everyone that already works. There needs to be guaranteed 40 hours a week unless they don't want it. But if you want 40 hours, you should get it anyway. Please write Safeway and tell them.”

“my Favorite Safeway..i live close by and go in nearly everyday..sometimes twice. all the employees there are super kind and friendly and because i go there so much im on a first name basis with some. some great deals to be had if you look hard. the pharmacy people are awesome as well, especially technician Sumaira who gave me my shots today.she was gentle and very kind.she can inject me anytime!”

“We love doing our regular shopping here and the workers are super friendly. I've had Safeway's bakery do a couple cakes for me in the past and they were outstanding. They'll work with you on any vision you have by giving them an image of what you're thinking. All of them come out better than the original!!! I asked for a solar system cake by giving a pic of an example and this was way better! Plus, since it was our son's 1st birthday it came with a free smash cake. I can't forget the floral department!!!! This was the first time working with their florist for an event and she simply out did any expectations I had. We worked on a dollar amount ($25), the number of bouquets which included the vase, and our theme which all were beautifully done in a manageable budget. This photo does not do the flowers justice! The rose had white, blue and purple and some of the baby breaths were silver for a galaxy themed. The florist was amazing to work with by calling the day prior to make sure everything was good to go and she was flexible with me when I asked to add 2 additional bouquets in the last minute. I cannot express how grateful I am for going with Safeway's bakery and floral department! They are amazing artist in their profession. I fully recommend going with them! Plus, the store in general is great with wonderful workers!”

“I’m not sure why this gas station has received so many negative reviews. I’m very selective about where I spend my money—especially when it comes to gas stations—and this place has consistently impressed me.

From the building itself to the surrounding landscaping, everything is clean and well-kept. The parking lot is maintained, and the trash cans are never overflowing or dirty, which I greatly appreciate.

The restroom is decent—clean enough and accessible, which is more than can be said for many places up north where public restrooms aren’t as common. While it looks like it’s partially being used for storage, the fact that there’s a bathroom available at all is a big plus.

And let’s talk about the coffee—every time I stop by, they actually have it ready, and even better, they provide cold creamer. You have no idea how much that small detail has won me over. It’s the reason I stop here four or more times a week for my morning coffee and food.”

“Cashier was very nice. They were out of large cups and he must have heard me tell my wife we could get the extra large soda and split it, because when he range us up he insisted we enter our loyalty number if we had it then he only charged us for a large which is on sale for 59 cents.”
