Save time - rent directly from Home Depot instead.Regardless of having made a valid reservation with Penske, there was no truck available for me when I arrived to pick it up. I had to rent a truck from Home Depot, which was super easy to do and cheaper than Penske anyway.

On hold for at least 40 minutes. Was told I would get a call back within a 1/2 hour. Never received a phone call back. Terrible customer service.

Be careful using the after hours drop off at this location. I did a one day one-way rental and dropped the truck off at this location. I got there 10 minutes after the store closed and used the drop box for the key and the return paper. The next day I tried calling the store several times to confirm they received everything, but their phone system is broken and you are unable to get ahold of anyone. The following day I received an email with a bill for an extra $100 charge for keeping the truck an extra day. It was apparent they do not check their drop box every day. Since you can’t reach anybody by phone, we went into the store just to be told there is nothing they can do and to try contacting Penske directly, even though it was their mistake. Terrible customer service and experience from this store.

I have to give the Penske truck rental one star even though we had the worst service I have ever had! It was not the Home Depot employees problem it was the Tacoma dispatcher. We reserved a 22' truck for 8:00am. this morning. It wasn't there by 8:30. It was not even arranged!!! I called the district office and was purposely disconnected 8 times!!! We found out that the closest 22' truck was in Nevada! We were sent a 26' which was way to big and we didn't want because my adult daughter was not comfortable with the truck that big. We were desperate so we took the huge truck. The Home Depot employees in Bonney Lake that we were dealing with directly were very helpful. We were given a big discount by the Hone Depot employee. We finally got a truck delivered at 12:00 noon! We had a crew of 10 friends sitting around for four hours waiting on the truck.it only took us 2 hours to load the truck. If I was to do it again in WA I would go with U-Haul. So glad this day is over!

Murphys law? lot of trouble and waste of time trying to get the truck. Made reservation 5 days in advance and apparently contract wasn't on system. Never got an email confirming reservation. There was a charge of 200 dls security deposit that was never disclosed when I made reservation. They said it was on email which I never received.
