Kinda gets annoyed if you ask to fix edges.

Today I had a haircut at Bothell Hair Studio and it was honestly the worst experience I’ve had at a salon. The cut was sloppy, with uneven lengths and no proper finishing around my ears. There was no transition or blending at all, making the haircut look very unprofessional. To make things worse, I was charged $50 for this poor service. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality haircut. Very disappointed.

Bothell Hair Studio is an absolute gem! I’ve been a loyal client for years, and I can confidently say this is the best salon experience you’ll find. Always open and available, they go above and beyond to accommodate their clients with a personal touch that sets them apart.
Every visit is a pleasure—whether it’s a quick trim or a complete transformation, the care and attention to detail are unmatched. While in the studio, I’ve seen her work with stylish women, sharp-looking men, and even kids, all walking out looking fantastic. This isn’t your typical “cut by numbers” salon; it’s a place where real artistry happens.
The studio is impeccably clean, professional, and always prompt. If you’re looking for a stylist who listens, delivers, and genuinely cares about her clients, look no further. Highly recommended! multiple styles for beard and hair over the years. Thank you for your exceptional service.

I have been coming to Tammy for I think seven or eight years now. She has always been very good to me and efficient and she has an absurdly good memory. I honestly have no idea how she remembers the details of so many different people. She remembers what my hair was like 6 to 8 weeks ago and exactly how to cut it - and I am assuming she has probably 3000 other people that come through here on a regular basis.
Anyway, she’s great - always fast and reliable. $35 for men.

Was the worst haircut that I’ve never had before. I went there just for trim haircut and she just told me to stand front the mirror and she started cutting my hair without even brushing it. After 5 min she was done. When I got home and take a shower I could see my hair all messed up

We went here because the ULTA in Kirkland messed up my wife's hair. The service was perfect, to say the least. It didn't feel rushed it felt natural she fixed everything that ULTA messed up on. This place has definitely earned a returning customer.

Today Nov/16/2023 my first time being here and I'm also in a hurry to a family dinner and I walked past this place and thought I go in and take a quick haircut and she was so very nice and I really liked my hair so much I gave her $60,$30 for my hair and $30 tip thank you so much it was great meeting you and next time I need a haircut I'll be back.

I’ve never written a review before in my life but I know I need too so other people are aware of this shady business woman.I took my Grandmother in for a haircut on a Wednesday afternoon. After about 5 minutes in the chair there was a knock on her side door.Tammi opened the door and the lady stated that she was from the Department of Revenue. She said that she had been trying to get ahold of Tammi for weeks and that she left her no other choice then to come in. She said that the methods of control for cash and credit cards needed to be discussed.When the IRS woman asked if she sold product from the salon she replied no and that it was for decoration, which is clearly not the case. The IRS woman then said that she called from a different number a week prior asking if she sold products and she told her yes, she does. Tammi then claimed that she doesn’t speak English and to call her husband which is also not true.The IRS woman then talked to her husband on the phone and said to keep an eye on her mailbox and that she’ll be visiting again very soon.I watched and listened to this whole interaction go down and it was one of the weirdest, most uncomfortable experiences of my life. Tammi then proceeded to come back to the chair and acted like nothing had happened. My grandmother was in the chair for a total of 15 minutes and she didn’t even wash her hair.She is 85 years old and it takes a lot to transport her. She was looking forward to getting her hair done all week as she was turning 86 the next day.In the 15 minutes we were there she gave her the worst, most uneven cut I’ve ever seen. She then charged her $45. My Grandmother can’t see well so didn’t get a good glance at the cut from the mirror. When we got in the car and she saw her haircut closer, she sobbed. We had to go to a different salon right after to fix it before her party.I called Tammi after asking her to refund my Grandmother to make it right. At first she claimed that she couldn’t hear me because the music was loud, she then said that she turned it down (which I could hear her perfectly fine before). I re-explained to her in detail about that day and she completely denied that anyone from the IRS came in that day. The lack of disrespect and immaturity is honestly unbelievable.This lady is EXTREMELY sketchy and is not to be trusted. I would never give her a single penny after this. This woman is CLEARLY cheating the system and doesn’t see the problem in it.The IRS woman was insistent on coming back to her shop so I’m guessing that they’re be shutting her business down as soon as their investigation is wrapped up. May justice be served and this woman never take from another individual again.

This place has scammy vibes. She suggested she'll do a trim rather than a haircut as she doesn't want to "cut too much hair." Literally just quickly had me stand while she did 3 short snips on my hair and said the trim is done. My google maps tells me my time from when i parked the car to when I returned back into the car was total 7minutes. But for this she charged $45! She just took my card without telling me the cost and the transaction completed without even a signature. She literally handed me a printout clarifying transaction completed ,that said 'SIGNATURE NOT REQUIRED' but had a spot for more tip. (I think she just keyed in a made-up number). She gave a feeling she was bigoted as she had a terrible attitude from the moment I walked in that she barely held in, and she visibly smirked at me (hahahah, what?! who does this lol) while she gave herself a 50% tip (online tells me her haircut cost is $30). Unclear if she tipped herself 50% and wanted to see if she can fleece the customer more or if she makes up different prices for different people? What a strange woman, not sure what her personal problem is but I didn't appreciate being scammed with a 5minute 'haircut' and a charge of $45. Chalking it down to the cost of checking out a new place but I think you're better off giving yourself a trim based on this experience..I'm sure I can manage 3 straight snips at the bottom of my hair to remove 1inch of split ends.Also, a trim even at fancy salons costs $20. A place that would charge $45 for a haircut would include shampoo, scalp massage, blow dry etc. She definitely sought to scam from the moment to I walked in. Unethical place of business in my book.

Owner is very sweet, and always welcome her clients with no issues. She works really hard (All 7 days) and puts a lot of effort to keep her hair studio clean, and decorating it aesthetically. Usually, when all the surrounding salons are heavily booked, she still has openings and welcomes her clients warmly. Please do visit her salon especially for haircuts (kids and adults alike)Thanks

I went in the wrong door and heard about it. I hadn't been there before and there was no sign to direct me to the proper entrance. I showed the gal a picture of the type of cut I wanted and she gave me a dry cut that lasted about 10 minutes. I wanted it layered in the back and she did it on the sides also so my hair flips out from my glasses. She put some conditioner in my hair and sort of styled it. A $10 cut for $40.

Went in for a hair color touch up had a Grey spot that didn't take the color. Was very offended when the lady asked if I had a birth defect. She redid the touch, but didn't realize til I got home that the front of my hair was a lot darker then the rest of my hair. I went back and she fixed it. Oddly enough it's not the color that it's supposed to be (red) but it does blend in really well.
