We've taken out family's pets here for many years, but last time, the vet was so unkind about a misunderstanding that lead me giving my cats the "incorrect" diet for IBD and she told me that I was killing my cats, her actual words; even if it's true, her attitude around it and the way she talked to me was unacceptable. My new vet fought for weeks to get the paperwork from Canyon Park, and when they finally did, it said "No signs of IBD," so seems like there wasn't even an issue in the first place and they were upset I didn't start purchasing the food they sell there, but I really hope that's not the case. I waited to write this review for almost a year to make sure that I wasn't dragging this place if they were correct, but my cats have been happy and healthy since, without another diet change, and my new vet is knowledgeable and kind.

I apologize sincerely for inadvertently adding a negative review meant for a different business on this page. That review was intended for Veterinary Group Lynnwood, not your company. I'm not sure how that mistake occurred, but I have since deleted the erroneous review.
As a way to make up for the error, I would like to take the time to provide some positive feedback about your business. So far, we have only experienced great service - the cleanliness, the treatment we've received, and the costs have all been excellent. Thank you for the wonderful experience

We have had an amazing experience with the front desk staff, Misty (epic!) and the doctors. Our boy has been well cared for and he has an extra step in his walk, even acts a bit cheeky since they improved his health. We thought we were stellar fur parents and the staff here made simple recommendations that improved his well-being. They are careful to consider your pocket book and make everything simple! Misty is amazing! Dr. McKee is great with the animals, has a calm, kind demeanor and will take time to laugh with you. I appreciate her. Dr. Vaugh is more serious and I like her also because she explains everything, is careful of cost and is detailed. Depending on your style, there is someone here that will make you feel your fur child is well cared for. I LOVE that the front desk brings their fur kids to work. The place is small and they keep it organized and they love the animals - there is zero doubt they care 100%. They go the extra mile for your pet.

I agree with the other reviewers. If this rating was just on Dr. Vaughn it would be a negative 1. That woman is terrible. Yelled, screamed, told me I WAS RUDE. What? Anyway Dr. McGee (I believe is spelling?) is great. Sweet to my animal, explains things well and I only continue to go to this vet because of her. If you are going to this vet clinic or are going to go I recommend her. Just stay away from that Dr. Vaughn,

Very reasonable rates, and compassionate care. I have never had any bad experiences with this clinic, or the employees. Having worked at a very expensive Eastside clinic for many years, I know what I am talking about. Too many of these clinics are Corporate owned, and the staff are completely directed by making more money for the Corporation that owns them. Nice to find a Vet owned clinic that only looks at what is best for your loving pet.

Boarded my cat for the first time ever and was so nervous to leave her for five days. Not only did they keep me updated but they fostered her sweet personality and spent quality time with her continually. She came out more confident than she went in and I’m just blown away by their love for her. She will definitely be back.

It's not very often that you find veterinary care, that actually cares. Thank you guys. I miss you. Keep up the awesomeness! ?

My dog and I have been going to this vet clinic for the last 2+ years. At first, the staff seemed somewhat friendly but the reception into the building was always indifferent and unfriendly. Dr. P was okay for the first visit, but a visit last year for a check of my dog's foot gave us a different vet, Dr. M. I was not pleased with her lack of rapport with both my dog and me and he appeared to be afraid of her and she didn't seem to care about that. Not good. I took him in for a routine vaccine in early January 2024. What could go wrong!! Ha! Got the usual grumpy reception and my dog was scared and I was trying to reassure him with treats I had brought and smiling at him and petting him. In the exam room he was whimpering. Dr, M walked in and the 1st thing she said was "Do I have to put a muzzle on him?" No greeting, no smile. I reminded her that he had never bitten anyone and he wasn't growling! She seemed sullen to me. She asked me a few questions. She told me to get him up on the table (slippery, no mat! ) I told her I would need help; could she call someone in. (My dog weighs 32 pounds!) She said no-one was available! (I am almost 80 yrs old and have back and hip issues that I had previously made the staff aware of). She gave me minimal assistance lifting him. Then, without warning to me, she grabbed his upper mouth and jammed something into his mouth! It was a liquid, I was expecting a shot! Then she did the worst thing possible. She said "GET him DOWN"!! Command words for a well-trained dog. Luckily I was standing in front of him and when he dove off the table I was able to cradle his head and neck and break his fall. But, we both fell to the floor and my dog yelped! My right arm had dragged down across the table and it was badly bruised. She made no attempt to help us and just LEFT THE ROOM! Both my dog and I were traumatized by this incident. When we left, I knew we deserved a lot better than this and that I would never put my beloved dog through that again! It should not happen to anyone else, either! Keep your dog safe and happy.

I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for the staff here. When my cat was diagnosed with cancer by another vet, the only option I was given was euthanasia or weekly therapeutic treatments until she declined (at a steep cost). When I began researching other vets in the Seattle area who could perform this treatment more affordably, so many of the clinics I called were wishy washy with pricing, or priced at an insane amount. Canyon Park Vet was completely transparent with me about pricing (incredibly affordable), and carried that transparency through every visit I had with them. They were compassionate towards my situation, empathetic, but honest. Dr Vaughn’s straightforwardness reassured me that I was doing the right thing, and made me more confident during this horrible time of uncertainty. Canyon park vet did everything in their power to help me help my cat in her final weeks, even having the flexibility to squeeze me in before they opened on a weekend to show me how to administer fluids to my sick girl. I am forever thankful for them and the extra time they gave me with my Willow.

All the vets and staff are very nice and knowledgeable. Appointments are relatively easy to get and follow up checks are free of charge which is so appreciated!

These vets are amazing, patient, and informative. I would say they are the most outstanding veterinarian office I have worked with in 10 years. Thank you!!!
