Have flowers regularly delivered (Birthdays and some Holidays/special events) to my two beloved daughters who live in Kirkland and this is only business I ever use to do so. I live pretty far away. My daughters (18/16 as of this writing) don’t speak to me because their wealthy mother (my ex wife) puts a lot of pressure on the kids to reject me - but I never give up - and for many years this florist is and has been joyfully, enthusiastically and excitedly a member of my “team” to help my two loyalty-bind suffering and alienated daughters know how much I care for them, how often I think of them and how much I deeply love them. I greatly and deeply appreciate this florist for what she has done to help my daughters know I really do care. “I was just at the Safeway at 520 128th St SW in Everett, WA and had gone through the self checkout. At checkout I realized I was using a card only machine and needed to split my payment between card and cash. So I called Kim, with the cool nails, over and said I screwed up and explained what I had done. She was AWESOME! Never at any point did she express any indifference, no frustration, she was genuinely happy to help. We ran into an issue after she suspended the transaction to ring up at her station so we ended up having a cashier re-ring my transaction, which was still wrong because now I wasn’t getting my for you digital discounts, but Kim was right there to make sure everything was right, she took over and corrected to prices to reflect all the discuss was just absolutely pleasant about it. She deserves recognition. She could have acted annoyed, she could have just passed me off and not cared whether it was right, but she went above and beyond to help me!”

“My florist canceled 4 weeks before my wedding and I was in a small panic when I called Barbara’s Floral. They calmly assured me thats it’s no problem and they’d be happy to provide flowers and care for everything from a truly epic alter arch and bridal bouquet, down to the finest detail on the boutonnieres and flower crown. They even offered delivery and setup almost an hour away for a shockingly low fee. They were no drama, and got literally every detail we asked for done beautifully. Delivery was on time, they brought extra, setup above and beyond, and the arrangements breathtaking. Of all my vendors, this one felt like a breeze and a steal. Ask for Krislin, you won’t be disappointed.”

“This is the best florist I have been to in Seattle. I have lived here for 27 years. This is important because I remember what the block that Verde & Co. is on used to look like. It used to be a factory sized warehouse that was a processing and distribution center for large floral company. Alanna shared her story with me when I went to buy some flowers for my partners birthday. She said she was a little girl when that building was still in existence and that she would play in amongst the flowers while her mother was an employee working at the warehouse. It’s an amazing story that she has reclaimed that space and kept it alive with her small yet mighty shop. The flowers are all fresh, seasonal and curated by Alanna. She made the perfect arrangement for me after a brief inquiry about the occasion and my partners tastes. The shop has many other thoughtful gifts and cards to supplement your flower purchase including a flower press that I was very tempted by. If you live in Seattle then you will never need another florist. Tangled you, Alanna!”
