A large complex, a big expectation for problem-solving.
We didn’t rent here just because the quality and condition of the housing do not match the price.

Management is insanely greedy here. The apartments are old and falling apart yet rent goes up astronomically every year.
The rating for this complex continues to get worse and worse. Don't believe me, look at the other reviews as well. Proceed with caution.

Very good place overall.
I’ve been living here for three years now, and I really like it except for two things:
1. There are no assigned parking spots. Everyone parks wherever they want, regardless of whether they are residents or guests. If you come home after 8–9 PM, it’s very unlikely you’ll find a spot. After 10 PM, you’ll probably have to park near the office building only.
2. The gym is very dirty, and there are no rules. Nobody cleans up, and residents don’t put the equipment back where it belongs. On top of that, residents bring their children to the gym, and they treat it like a playground. Kids are running all over the place, and I have to watch out to avoid accidentally bumping into them and hurting them. Why is this my responsibility? Why are kids under 10 even allowed to run around the gym...

The epitome of sleazy apartment complex management. I was deceived in many ways when we signed our lease and I’m now being deceived by the office when we are ending our lease. Inferior maintenance and upkeep, also the amenities are rarely available.

Big complex. Know where you are going. Tough parking sometimes.

Visited a friend here. I wouldn’t live here if the management paid my rent for me. Smells like rats and you can see the vermin running around the dumpsters. I guess if you have a cat or hunting dog, they can chase rats to their heart’s content. I’ve been to properties in Shoreline and Everett that were in better repair than this place. Get an extended stay motel room if you need a place to live before throwing your money away on this place.

The staff here at Griffis North Creek has been nothing but kind and professional to me. The maintenance manager works quickly and diligently and is always completing work orders. I’ve never had an issue with my service requests and I know I can count on them.

The location of the apartment complex is convenient as it is within walking distance to Thrasher's Corner for your daily necessities. However, the truth is that the complex is a complete rip-off. Despite charging extra fees for amenities like the pool, it was hardly ever open during late spring and summer. The management showed little concern for the residents. Whenever we reported a problem with our apartment, it would take ages to receive a response, and most of the time, no one would even bother to reply. The only time we received a prompt response was when a pipe burst in the middle of the night. This was because the owner of the complex lived on the floor below us and did not want the poor maintenance to affect their apartment. After we moved out, they're now trying to charge us for things that were all their fault and not ours. I strongly advise against choosing this apartment complex as there are better options available down the road that offer better services at a lower cost and you can avoid these scam artists that operate this place.

Lived here for three years and never had a problem that couldn’t be solved in a quick phone call or request on the portal. It wasn’t the fanciest ever but it was clean, and everything was in great condition when I moved in. Legitimately enjoyed visits from maintenance because they were so nice. My only complaint was the parking lot - not enough spots for everyone in the section by buildings 1-6, and it made me nervous how often kids would run out in front of my car without looking. Pretty sure the parking situation is better if you’re way in the back of the complex and away from the playgrounds though.

Good place to live, it’s clean and nice always but very expensive. I like the way how Susan and Kyle takes care of residents especially service team employees responding promptly

My husband and I lived at Griffis for about six years, and were in three different units during that time. Management has changed a couple of times since living here, but the current team is really great. I don't think I have ever gone to voicemail when calling the office, and the team responds quite quickly to emails as well. What I don't understand, are the negative reviews in regards to the noise level of neighbors, as the complex doesn't really have much control over that (especially during "normal" hours). However, when I have called the office to inform them of loud banging (hammering, etc.) and other unreasonable noises, I was always assured that they would call around and try to get to the bottom of it. Writing a negative review because you can hear your neighbors walking upstairs doesn't really make much sense to me, as it has nothing to do with the complex as a whole.Griffis is also incredibly dog friendly! The fact that you can have three pets is great, but it does also drastically limit where you could potentially move in the future. The entire place is very walk-able, with sidewalks connecting the entire community, as well as lots of grassy areas to potty dogs. (It would be nice if there were a few more dog poop stands, though). The amenities are also very nice! One recent review that I saw said that the gym is small, but that is very much untrue. Griffis has, by far, the biggest apartment gym that I have experienced, as well as many different types of equipment. The pool does get closed quite often, which I'm sure is very frustrating for people who want to use it, but my husband and I never did.The only thing that happened in my six years here that really frustrated me was when my car bumper got completely ripped off on one side because of a piece of rebar sticking out of the parking block by over an inch, and upon emailing the community manager in hopes of getting some sort of compensation for repairs, or at the very least for the rebar to be removed, I never received a response. It has been over a year and I still haven't fixed my bumper as it is very pricey.Ultimately, the reason my husband and I decided to move to a different apartment is because of the increase in rent every year. It has been a $130-140ish increase per month for the last couple years, and we just cannot save for a house when paying over $2500 for a 2b 1b. However, we certainly appreciate Griffis a lot more after moving to our current apartment. If we weren't saving for a house we would absolutely move back to this place!
