I visited to get the lazy suzi door hinge. Was not able to find it. Had to look up online and was able to find in Amazon.

If you like frustration you'll love this place. Don't waste your time. The employees are useless too

For the most part they have everything I need . Just wish their pressure treated lumber was more consistent in width of boards.

I generally have good things to say about Home Depot. Our recent purchase of carpeting has revealed to me that the size of a company like HD prevents it from having truly accessible and effective customer service.
When the HD contracted installers came to put in our carpet, they put down the tack strips and padding, and then informed me that they did not have enough carpet due to incorrect measurements done by HD. They correctly decided not to do a partial install. But we were left in limbo by HD , unable to get through their hellish phone system and find a person to give us information about next steps. When I finally got through after an afternoon of failed attempts, I was told, “It’s 5:30, anyone that could help you with your problem has gone home.” Twice! Wrong thing to say to a frustrated customer looking for answers to legitimate questions.
This was all on the 7/17. It is now 7/23. Received a text on the 22nd saying our carpet installation is scheduled for 8/7. In the meantime our family room and my wife’s office are unusable. Both of my dogs have hurt a paw from stepping on the exposed tack strips (the biggest upset of all of this). Our front porch is full of office furniture and we’ve canceled furniture deliveries. They already have our money, so no rush.
None of this has or will prevent me from continuing to shop at Home Depot. We will be needing quite a bit more carpeting for upstairs next year. We will not be using HD for that purchase.

Loading help is terrible, wait times for locked cabinets is the worst. Only 1 person manned checkout is available and only a few self checkouts.

Love this place. Always has what I'm looking for 100% of the time. I think my house was 100% made of home depot stuff, because everything I replace is exactly what I find at depot. Lumber isn't great but not worst... tools like Ryobi are awesome here.

Whenever I come here I like to go to the hardwood flooring section of the store and find a face in the plank of wood and I speak to it as though it's a friend. Over time, I find many faces and they become familiar, friends even. They take on a life of there own. Sometimes they do things that upset me, enrage me even. I gossip with the other wood faces at opposite corners of the display, talking behind there backs. A war has broken out between the left and the right side, and my gossip has turned the wood faces against one another. I can hardly walk down the aisle without being swept into hours of yelling and arguments.
