Mani and his assistant were amazing. They did a big job that took all day and they were really thorough, polite and, above all, mindful of us, our pets and belongings. Mani even went the extra mile when it came to small details that he knew would make my life easier and left everything spotless.

I had called because my Garage opener wouldn’t work. He came and checked the electric box and all was normal. He pushed the GFI button on outlet and it solved issue. I felt $380 to push the GFI was too expensive. They could have probably explained that to me over phone.

Very unprofessional they installed my charger incorrectly and now it’s overheating. They then told me they have to charge me to come check to see what the issue is . Horrible service and customer service

Great communication and a fair price to install an outlet for my car charger. Thank you!

We were told of arrival between 8:30-9:00 am, at 9:20 am we called and were told they were at the shop & would be here within the hour. They did not show up until @ 11:15 am. We were having an outdoor outlet installed, but they neglected to CONFIRM with my husband where it was to be placed. When he went outside they had already cut the hole, which was in the wrong spot from where we had discussed. The work itself was done well, but we were disappointed with the above. They pride themselves as professionals, but the above 2 instances does not appear to be professional.

Terrible . They have unlicensed electricians working by themselves. The owner Jacob is very rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Good quality of work, but very poor customer service and unclear pricing. The final invoice was significantly higher than the original quote, and they will not provide an explanation, or return calls. My original experience with them was great 3 years ago, but I will not recommend hiring them again after my latest experience.

They will steal your money. Do not do service with them. Do not give them a deposit. They will agree to do a job than change the job and triple the price then refuse to give you your deposit back. They are crooks.

I have been dealing with a lot of contractors to get my condo ready to list. Jacob Electric stood out from the rest. Their pricing was great, service was excellent, and they got the job done quickly and on time!

I placed a ticket into Home Depot seeking an electrician to install an chandelier in my home and Jacob Electric reached out giving me an emailed for $325 on 3/7/2024. I called following morning (3/8/24) and spoke to an office assistant asking if this was the full price of install or just a quote. The lady confirmed that it was the price so I accepted and we scheduled an arrival time on 4/8/2024 between 3:30pm and 3:45pm. At 3:30pm (4/8/24) two electricians showed up and did the install. They had everything they needed and even stated the job was simple since the chandelier was very light. They finished and left at 5:30pm. I cleaned up after them and even threw the garbage out myself. After they left I received another invoice for $1,060. Looking further at the quote I show I was being charged for 4 hours for both the electricians on top of ladder fees, van fees, and travel time all that were not stated in the first quote. I called and spoke to Luka, who stated he is one of the owners, and all he said was to send an email to the manager to dispute the hours. I sent an email on 4/9/24 and they made a 1 hour adjustment which was still incorrect and I even stated that I have recordings of when the electricians showed up on my Simply Safe and when they left to prove the 2 hours of work time. Jacob Electric is unwilling to adjust the price and they are currently still asking for $959.59 on a job that I approved of at the original quote of $372 (after tax). I am worried that if I only pay the $372 they will send me to collections on the remaining I did not agree to pay. I have already submitted a Consumer Complaint report with the Office of Attorney General and I am trying to find other ways to protect me from this excessive charge and potential collections.
4/15/2024 - I ended up paying only because the company keeps giving me the runaround on working to lower the bill and I did not want to fall into their trap of being sent to collections as today was the final day per the contract to pay. I called on 4/12/2024 and spoke to a representative who seemed like he agreed that an initial estimate of $325 jumping to over $1000 is ridiculous and he stated he would look into it and call me later that day, which he did not so I assume this was just a way to get me off the phone. I am still perusing the consumer complaint process in hopes, at the very least, to spread the word to the greater community around this company and their shady and unethical practices. People should read their reviews posted from multiple other unsatisfied customers and on the Better Business Bureau showing they are rated F due to not caring about what their customers think or feel.
DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID AND DO YOUR RESEARCH WITH THIS COMPANY BEFORE ALLOWING THEM TO ENTER YOUR HOME - SCAM ALERT - YOU WILL BE CHARGED WAY OVER ORIGINAL QUOTE

This was my go to electrical company. Until recently. They moved my electrical panel about 8month ago. 1 breaker kept intermittently tripping after this. I finally called to ask how long their warranty is and was told 1 year. So they came back out to fix the issue yet charged me over $700 to fix work that should be covered by the 1yr warranty. I called Jacob electric several times to solve this issue. Only to be told each time they will call me back tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. Apparently they do not honor their warranty policy.
