BEWARE! I had the worst experience at Quality Foreign Auto. I dropped my car off for a basic diagnostic. They sat on it for 24hrs without even starting the diagnostic. When they finally called, they claimed I needed a new alternator and a new drive belt without doing the proper voltage tests.
They completely lost my confidence. At that point I told them I would pick up my car and bring it somewhere else.
Then a $110 “checkout fee” magically appeared! This fee had never been mentioned. It only appeared the moment I decided to walk. Washington law requires shops to disclose and get authorization for all charges ahead of time. They did not. They made up a fee and expected me to pay it.
When I arrived to pick up my car and refused to pay the unauthorized checkout fee, the receptionist became openly hostile. When I told her I wasn't going to pay and to return my keys, she actually threw them at me. I asked her where my car was. She slumped back in her chair and stared at me. I had to repeat the question before she muttered that it was “somewhere in the lot.”
I walked around trying to find it myself. Finally a technician, who was the one decent person in the entire place (shoutout to that guy), came outside, told me my car was actually still in the back, and brought the car to me.
As I was leaving, the receptionist told me they would never service my car again. Lady! You're so childish. There is no chance I would ever trust them with anything after this mess.
Adding pics for verification of service and interaction.

I have read the great reviews and thought I would give them a try. Sad to say, I wish I wouldn't have. The communication is poor, they take a long time to fix you car and they were MORE expensive than the dealership. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.
More details on my experience. I scheduled an appointment for a bad wheel bearing on my 2018 Honda Odyssey. The appointment was a week out, not too bad-no complaints there. The day of my appointment they confirmed it was a bad wheel bearing and they ordered the parts and hoped to have it done by EOD. No call or communication at the end of the day if it was done or still waiting. Next Day....still nothing, not a single text or call. Finally on Day 3 first thing in the morning (after I left a message asking for an update) they finally called and said they hoped to have it done by end of day today as the wrong part arrived 2 days ago and they need to get the right one. The fact they didn't realize this on Day 1 or Day 2 and had to reorder the part on day 3 is unacceptable. Needless to say, be careful dropping your car off here as it will take longer than you expect and communication is seriously lacking.
Probably the most frustrating part of this was the cost. After they gave me the quote and I approved the amount, I decided to call 2 different local Honda dealerships and had them give me an official quote with all parts, labor, fees and taxes for this repair and they were BOTH cheaper than QFA. Just be careful what they charge you here as it should have been cheaper and not more expensive than the dealership. Definitely get other quotes before approving their HIGH repair costs.
I was really hoping for a great experience, but this really missed the mark. I worry others who are reviewing them so highly must be unaware of the high rates they are paying them and settling for very long repair times even when you have appointments scheduled to get it done.
They did say sorry for the long repair time and lack of communication, but when I told them this was MORE expensive than the dealership quotes, they were taken back. Just shows they are overcharging customers and getting whatever they can. Definitely not the local honest shop I was hoping to shift my service too. On to find the next reasonably priced shop with good service.

QFA did a great job servicing my 1980 Toyota Celica, identifying and replacing a leaky fuel line in my most recent visit to their garage as well as a failed clutch slave cylinder in my last visit. As they have always been for the 10+ years I've been bringing my cars to them, QFA provided high-quality service with a very quick turn-around time. I can't recommend them enough!
