Would give 0 star if I could since they messed up with my son's prescription. They called me on Saturday confirming that the prescription would be ready on Monday. They even told me the quantity and out of pocket costs. Come Monday, the pharmacists told me that the prescription has been backordered at their location for a while and they have no eta for me. They informed me that I could pick it up in another Safeway pharmacy location since they're using the same system. Called the recommended Safeway location and that location told me that I'd need my pediatrician to do another refill. I'd never come to this location again.

My experience has been good. Due to Covid, everyone, everywhere is understaffed. The medical world has been turned on its head. Still, this pharmacy staff has done a pretty good job juggling this plus vaccinations. They are always patient and nice and in the end; they get the job done!! We all need to give some grace and be patient.

The entire staff has changed over in the last month, or so. They were complaining to me about it being understaffed, and way too stressful. Now, there is a really nice head pharmacist, and anywhere from none, to four employees, who are mostly rude, and not helpful. I'm moving to a pharmacy who can handle their business. I've been waiting four days for my meds. Too long! Avoid this place!

Super friendly staff, very very patient, always willing to work with you on pickup times and really helpful when it comes to finding prescription discounts. Simply put, they actually seem to care about their customers which is rare these days.

Signs at both entrances state carts are sanitized. I watched as a staff member brought in a long line of carts and placed them in the area designated "Sanitized Carts." When asking why the sign said something untrue, I was told that people sanitize their own. In speaking with someone supposedly in management, I was told it would be brought to the attention of the manager. All signs were still in place when I left. The signs have been in place for several months, beginning when staff were positioned at each entrance actually sanitizing carts for customers. The staff have long been absent from either entrance and no one has been been sanitizing carts. I can sanitize my own cart, but find it dangerous, particularly for at-risk customers to state the carts are already sanitized. I was given the impression this was not a high priority at all. Also observed on this trip were pharmacy personnel eating and drinking at the window behind the counter, behavior that is unacceptable in handling of medications. These things coupled with a poor selection of items (no small canned pineapple, plain 4% yogurt, dark rye bread) are causing my departure. It seems they are never out of stock on Safeway Select or O Organics branded items, as if to force you to buy them instead of your preferred brand. I have only recently shopped a couple of times at Central Market in Mill Creek. They still have staff sanitizing carts and handing them out to customers. They have sanitizer available throughout the store and encourage social distancing. The products are of a much higher quality and the selection is wide and varied. The service is always outstanding. Yes, it's more expensive, but as the sage adage goes, you get what you pay for. Safeway? Not so safe. I'm outta here.

This Safeway sold me a tortilla that was over a month old. Today's date is 10/25/2020. It expired on 9/23/2020. I ate it and I hope I don't get sick. Worst inventory management and food safety practice. I would double check expiration on any food bought here. If covid doesn't kill you their molding food probably will.

Safeway Manager are you wondering why you're not selling more chicken even when it's on sale? Deli has chicken from hot case advertised at a lower price right on the window of the hot case! But the clerk, working 8/10 @ ~6pm, said he didn't have "the code" for the price. "They didn't tell us". Clerk lost a sale when a man didn't want to buy the chicken at a higher price, than the advertised price. A little advice to the young clerk, you're never going to get ahead in your working life with that "I don"t care" attitude. Show some enthusiasm for your job!

Each time we have gone into this safeway, there are three women (older) who are exceptionally rude (cashiers/courtesy clerks). They are very short with people and hate answering any questions. This is even pre-covid! The bakery staff who answer the phone calls that come in don't know how to even find a cake or answer questions. This store is in serious need of some training through and through!
