Great small business with great owners. Best deal on local beers on tap $6 for a 16 or 20oz glass. Taqueria Talpense tastes great and good prices. This place has character and all sorts of people come through

Great location and always has a good variety of drinks and snacks. The taco place inside is one of the best in the neighborhood.

I keep visiting the Mexican restaurant inside and unfortunately we need to order through the lying, cheating, greedy, rude lady who runs the store. The restaurant food is great and staff is good. I realized the lady charged me extra for veggie fajitas, labeling it as shrimp fajitas. When I asked her why she started arguing saying Veggie is extra which didn’t make sense. I asked the restaurant guy and he said it shouldn’t be extra and he refunded the extra money to me. if you see reviews for Tacqueria Talpense , the restaurant you’ll see many others are unhappy with the store lady.

Best Mexican on the east side. Hands down. Fantastic tacos and burritos. Also make sure you try their habanero hot sauces. So good!

My favorite local Mexican food, the refried beans are incredible, and I love their enchiladas. Plus the market has a really awesome selection of beer

Very friendly folks that own and operate Top. Pro Tip, they stock some great beers and are always open to helping you find a special beer. Don't hesitate to go out of your way to visit.

This review is for the mexican shop inside, but posting my review here as well to get more awareness to both places :) We heard of this place from looking through yelp and am super happy that it's close by to home. Definitely will be a go-to place for some tacos and fries whenever I'm craving for them. This place is located inside Top Market and Deli, and you would order at the cash register of the store. The people was nice and they brought the food to our car so we didn't have to wait indoors for the food. We got: Carne Asada Fries: mmmmmm this was sooo good. Fries filled with cheese, beef, and sour cream. It was hot and fresh and just delicious. And for around $9, you get a generous portion. 3 tacos ($1.75 / piece): We got chicken, chorizo, and beef. THese are pretty decent tacos, filled with meat, onions, and cilantro. They gave us a few radish and carrots as well. The meat was a little dry and kinda bland but the sauce they provided us definitely balance it out. Speaking of sauce, these sauce are pretty delicious. Definitely will be back to try their other dishes for sure.

Originally posted this review under Taqueria Talpense but want to place it here as well since it appears many people think the market and Taqueria are one and the same. These guys know what they're doing. Scarfed down a sampling of carnitas and adovada tacos and a carne asada mulita, in the parking lot- all perfect. Meat had just enough crisping/browning, generous portions. Great salsa selections and nice fresh pickled veggies and radishes. Will be a regular.

Everyone raves about the Mexican takeout here and over NEVER had it!! I give this lovely little corner store five stars for selection of local beer including growler fills on tap. It also has a very useful amazon locker location. Lots of space for social distancing. Well lit. Eventually I need to come try the take out because apparently it's fantastic!

The Mexican spot here is awesome!!! Great food! Bring cash for tip. Love their tacos, fries, quesadilla, all their salsas, burritos, pico; pretty much everything is good. We live nearby so it’s a go to for the neighborhood.

Beware - they do not sell any deli meat at all. I walked in and asked where the deli counter was and they proceeded to ask me if I wanted to order tacos. I’m not sure why it’s called a deli.
